The Bin Goblin

The Bin Goblin

Bin goblins are one of the most easy to find goblins you will encounter as they are in a common place and often get stuck whilst trying to go back to their burrows underground. Most bin goblins will live in the tip  where there is a lot of space for their cave-like houses, but a small minority of them choose to accommodate themselves within the confines of a bin (hence the name) or a skip where rubbish is plentiful.

Amazingly, their wathery hair stays crisp white despite all the dirt and rubbish around it. Their skin is sticky and brown. A ripped gray T-shirt normally accompanies them throughout their journeys. As you could assume, with no access to oral hygiene products their teeth are as yellow as a fresh block of cheese.

Bin goblins like to live inside of people’s general waste bin or their skips but the majority of them simply live in the public tip where they can burow down into the dirt and rubbish. Creating their little underground huts. They can also run freely around and make new goblin friends.

Whilst underground, they will eat any worm that they can find. They will eat it even if it is massive or tiny, thick or skinny. Their cheeks are specially designed to slurp worms as you would a noodle. Weirdly, they drink old oil that has been used to run ancient machines. Breathtakingly, they will drink leftover fruit juice that is out of date. Interestingly, they will not eat foods that are fresh because they will much prefer the taste of old food. The ones that live in a skip eat microchips from deserted computers just as a snack.

The Bin Goblin, though horrifying in appearance, is actually friendly but they can’t speak any english so don’t expect them to talk back to you. The Bin Goblins’ hands are particular for digging through dirt and they move at rapid speed to get the job done fast. They are afraid of people that are trying to take what is theirs and to prove to science that they are real. Those that find computers use them to sleep like a mattress and use discarded paper as a duvet. If they are startled they will frantically search for the closest place to dig down. When underground they use echolocation to find their way back home.

Surprisingly, the bin goblins have great games that they like to play with each other. Such as bin tug. It is where they pull on a piece of string. It is just like tug of war that all the people play. Although they hate humans, they are very friendly and care for them because they have such a kind personality. If you come home to find that your computer is broken then you know that it was the bin goblin trying to have a snack or just messing around. If you do see the bin goblin, most people call the inspectors to clear them from your home bins. If you do get infected by goblins, the best solution is to give them a home inside your bin and to rot your food so that you can share delicious fruits with them. If you want to interact with them, the best way is to place small amounts of fruits to lure them in and to say gentle words so that they get used to your body and come out often to interact with you.

So next time your computer is broken, your fruit has turned rotten, your car has broken, your compost bin is full or you simply just want a friend, remember to be kind and give it to a Bin Goblin and maybe, just maybe they could become your little Goblin pal.
