On the way home

On the way home…

On the way home

I met a girl called Ice

She had eyes as bright as  ice freezing over a lake

and her hair as dark as a frosty night,

and her lips as blue as the bright blue sky.

She whispered golden words

that fell into a puddle

of water.

I met a boy called Midnight

He had eyes as black as the black and white path

and his hair as dark as the purple shiny galaxy

his clothes as yellow as the brightest stars in the sky

He flies around in the dark

frosty sky.

I met a girl called Sunset

Her eyes as soft as a light baby pink teddy bear

and her hair a soft orange faded into as soft as a mysterious red

and her clothes a soft yellow softer than the sun going down at night for the moon to finally shine

she flies up into the sky just before it becomes night for the beautiful sunset to appear.

I met a boy called Plant

His eyes as green as a vine taking over the outside of the house

his hair as brown as the soil getting put into the plant pot

his clothes as white as a daisy waving through the wind

when he is sad he makes it rain for the plans to grow

when he is happy he makes it sunny for the plants to grow.

I met a woman called Scotland

Her eyes as blue like the parts on the flag

her hair as white as the x on the flag

her clothes as grey as the big long pole

and in the wind the flag flaps about

like crazy.

I met a boy called Fire

His eyes like rose red

his hair as orange as the plant pot

his wings as big and yellow as the burning sun

he flew into the big brown logs

to start up the big burning fire.

I met a dog called Mint

His big bold green eyes like the mint chop chip ice-cream

His  fur as brown as chocolate chips

His paws as small as a baby hand

He barked as loud as a trumpet playing twinkle twinkle little star.
