The secret emporium

“My name is Rehpic Llib,” he said as he approached Danny. “This business is managed by me. If you have any concerns, please contact one of my employees.” Danny did nothing but nod and listen. “You are free to roam around, but you must not touch my book!” he exclaimed.

Danny dashed towards the book, grabbed the golden pen attached, and flipped through the pages, each page was filled with letters and drawings that looked so real they could be photos, with busy cities and small houses, big houses, and many more.

Danny saw an empty page and immediately began drawing a city, complete with a cafe. He drew tiny outlines of what he had long desired as he had finished. He heard a mysterious sound and got up and looked around.

“Over here,” the capybara said. Danny closed the book and followed the pet. He opened the door to find not just a small room, but a city. Except for the sounds of sewage, it was eerily quiet. He saw the cafe through the alleyways, but the most intriguing thing was that it looked exactly like the drawing he drew in the book. He then dashed towards the cafe as quickly as he could.

As he walked into the cafe, his mind raced; it had everything a cafe would need: a cosy fireplace; music playing in the background; smooth wood walls; lights hanging from the ceiling; and a cup of hot chocolate still hot on the counter. Danny yelled, “Is anyone here?” but heard nothing as he looked around.

Suddenly, H=he heard a noise and turned around to see what appeared to be a pile of mucus and pure black eyes that looked like they were about to fall out of the creature’s head, along with crooked hands. Danny was scared. He opened the cafe door and rushed to the city’s outskirts, but the door had vanished, leaving only more roads and buildings behind going on indefinitely until a terrifying sound said, “STAY.” Danny needed to act quickly!
