I wore the red mask I saw

a field of poppies

and tomato ketchup bursting out of it’s bottle.

I wore the orange mask I saw

a goldfish shimmering in the clear water

and halloween pumpkins everywhere.

I wore the yellow mask and saw

butter melting in the sun,

daffodils swaying in the grass

and bananas peeling off it’s skin.
