Chapter 3 a problem acers
Suddenly, John was called over by his race team. When he arrived at his awning, John climbed into his Volvo White Aerodyne. Inside, the cab was extremely complex: a bucket seat to protect the driver from rolling around the cab; five point racing harness; removable steering wheel for easy access; on the left you have black gear stick; and a control board with all the dials to the left of the gearstick with switches to activate the engine. Outside, The venal wrap was his sponsors and a wolf sprinting on the side panels and the backing was a dark red. Was just as he imagined.
“What the…” said John , wondering how this could be true. He fired up the straight six with ease and rolled to his position on the grid. Eventually, when he was in position the pack started the warm up lap for the rolling start. Suddenly, the pace truck rolled into the pit lane. Then the lights went out we were racing. Three or so laps in a light rain started to fall. Shortly after the rain started to fall, first place lost control on main straight and ended up in the wall along with third place. John thought he lost control after the fight with second place and broke something underneath. Then John smelt it.
Slowly, the windscreen was steaming up. John thinks he hit a puddle. the rear of the truck stood out and clipped the grass. Something was wrong with truck. Suddenly, an eye splitting noise filled the cab. He veered as far onto the grass as he could and leapt out the truck. John turned around and saw the engine on fire.
He heard the sound again. John stumbled to the post. The marshals collected the debris from when his truck collided the wall. When they were back with John on post. He heard a deep thumping. At that second he spun around and saw it. The thing was vile: tentacles dragged along the ground; its stench of rotten fish; and spikes appeared on its head it head. He ran in the direction of the paddock he had came from.
Where is the door? John was certain this was the location were the door was. Just before the isle of trucks. But there was nothing not even a hint it was there. He remembered something he wrote into the book just in case. Everything was correct apart from a monster was on the loose. “Come back to the lake” whispered the monster ,wanting him for a reason or another.
