On the cake island I saw,
Rich red velvet sponges,
Waterfalls of sweet sprinkle and icing flowing down.
On the Doughnut island I saw,
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts locking me dead in the eye,
The subtle smell of tasty glazing hit my nose.
On the cookie island I saw,
Mouth melting chocolate as hot as the sun,
I heard the ding of an oven when soft cookies slid out of the oven.
On the loaf island I saw,
Fluffy textured bread springing up and down,
Slightly moisten brioche on the side of paths,
I imagined the touch of puffy banana bread facing my direction.
On the savoury island I saw,
Crispy baked potatoes with cheese sprinkled on-top with tuna on the side,
I tasted the strong flavour of pork adobo in my mouth.
On the sweet island I saw,
M&Ms crunchy outer shell break into pieces,
Starbursts squashing in your mouth,
Hershey kisses sending the delicious taste to your taste-buds.
