with tomatoes, lettuce and ham, waiting to be eaten by the owner starving to eat.

 sliding slowly down the owner’s hand like a snail,on the beach.

waiting, wildly, to be put on a delicious dainty sandwich.

  You are rice,

watching rocks smashing into the wishing waves like missiles targeting the sea.

You are a hot dog,

 standing so tall, as high as a skyscraper.

screaming silently from being bitten again and again.

You are tuna and sweetcorn pasta,

 with a hint of mayonnaise, tomatoes and cucumber sitting in the fridge wondering when it’s going to be eaten.

 melting on the hot food dripping over and over.
