The Dragon

The Dragon

Its piercing eyes slice through time and existence latching onto a sudden movement.

It thrusts its throat adjusting the way it stood and collapsed into the defining wind of the nights moon lit sky.

An entirely scaled jaw gargled like a pot of potatoes on a cold winter’s night.

The dragons misplaced teeth tore up its prey with not even an effort.

Its unforgettable tail slashed what was left behind its tracks.

It tucked its injured and painful wing to its side away from harm.
