Prologue

Come and tour at a site where eagles feel embarrassed because of how high you are.You can observe the hazy, squashy clouds and brag to birds on how elevated you are.Rewind your mind and think on how it feels to have the air’s breeze thrown across your body and leave your stress on the other side of you.Let out your inner child and watch a flock of pigeons race across the endless sky. 

I can guarantee that you have surveyed the vast horizon at dawn as the disc-shaped moon follows you.Remember how it felt to watch the blinding sun go down and turn the sky neon-pink.

But you should also try a journey when the rocky hailstone crumbles like a cookie.The horror of the frightening lightning flashing down, leaving your mouth wide open.The splashes of dripping rain falling onto your newly cut hair, widening the shape of the clouds.

Rumours go around every day about one particular thing called Zeus’ descendants, watching over you on top of the midnight sky.The beliefs are that they have lightning shaped arms, with claws that can rip an entire house in one strike.They are flying beasts that go around every night and take one person to hire to their crew.

Chapter 1

 Ezekiel grasped onto the wooden railing, with all of his organs pumping firmly.He swallowed and shivers went down his spine like dipping your hand in a pool of ice.Beside him,  his younger sister (Yasmin)was  fearless, even though the skyship plunged from side to side.They set off on the sky ship, but a snow storm had dragged them to the other side of their destination.

At that moment, Zeus’ descendants had rose. Ezekiel had seen 4 of them emerge from the hazy clouds, and lightning bolts shot at the Emerald Eclipse.Captain Intrépide heaved the airship to one side, avoiding a disaster.”Get ready to go!”He shouted.

 Soon after, the Emerald Eclipse descended between the never-ending clouds, the rusty engine breaking apart, with the air from the balloon leaving like it is claustrophobic and wants to get out.They fell and got passed around by the  whipping storm Isha.Ezekiel and Yasmin squinted their eyes, observing the endless skies for Zeus’ descendants to see if they were the masterminds behind all of this.Did they escape these terrifying creatures?
