However, a skyship expedition isn’t always just sunset, perhaps you could experience the harsh winter winds as sharp as a fierce eagle’s talons that scratch a defenseless mouse’s skin.

And maybe even an attack from the evil sky gnomes, that hide away in the Broken caves of Kurtistown, plotting their revenge on the corrupt humans of Earth.

Chapter 1

Clawdeen grasped onto the railing, her heart sank into her stomach in fear and she was shaking. She adapted her breathing to be slow, trying to calm herself, and tried to think happy and positive thoughts. Her sister, Mavis, crept from exploring the rooms to behind her. They both peered out the window, the clouds wrapped around the skyship like a blanket, blinding their captain.

All of a sudden, sky goblins clung onto the skyships balloon, making it rumble. Clawdeen’s head sprung up, and she stared out the window trying to locate them, but the storm clouds stopped her, “Hold tight!” announced captain Pearl.

Moments after, the skyship began to descend under the clouds, and the baldes began to move slower and slower, until they stopped. Mavis held on tight, but Clawdeen found against the wall, hitting her head with a  loud ‘BANG!’. Lightning roared,rain tapped on the windows, and every drop raced down.
