Inside and Outside

Outside, the delicate blossom hung off the trees gracefully.

Inside, the children screamed in frustration at the work laying in front of them.]

Outside, brain-dead bodies grabbed each other’s hands and crawled across the street.

Inside the houses, parents covered the eyes of their scared, young and crying children.

Outside, the glorious sun danced gracefully across the aqua sky.

Inside, the underground was full of gathering and busy tourists eager to get a seat on the next tube.

Outside, the protesters stopped the cars to talk to them.

Inside, people tried to sleep but the honking and screaming of angry people filled the streets of London.

Outside, it was damp and silent but the regret and guilt clung to the air.

Inside, the man paced for hours thinking of how he could have made the situation easier for him and the other boy.
