Chapter 3: The Eggs
Me and that girl became friends after that incident, we would go to the beach every friday but the next week she wanted to go explore a cave but no one would go in there because they were all scared of it. We decided and we went in to explore we found nothing but a glimpse of a shadow and a light coming from a rock but we couldn’t see so we just went black but the exit was closed we couldn’t find anything else so we tried watching a glimpse of the light we could see it was an egg from th- the kitamander it had the same tails and eyes it was hard to believe to what we were seeing in that cave but it was all real the shadow was ack we looked at it and it was the kitamander plotting on feeding us to the baby when it hatches it grabbed us and chucked us next to the egg it was cracking we had less than 1 minute left we ran and found an exit bu we were to late we were grabbed by the kitamander and dragged to the nest it wasn’t just a kitamander it was also a kitsune a Japanese myth it is wrote like this in Japanese, 狐, きつね which means fox.

Chapter 3 : The Lost Box
You guys will not believe what I found! Mathew was on the list. So weird. I never had a lost child that just randomly ran into me! But I have no choice but to find some clues for him. ‘Your surname is Hertigatsies, right?’ ‘Correction ,Herdgates!’ Mathew snapped. ‘Sorry,’ I mumbled. It was so embarrassing! I had never, ever mistaken somebody’s surname before! So anywho, I checked the list. It read :

I just couldn’t believe it. I just couldn’t!!! ‘Well surprisingly Mathew,’ His face was boiling with anxiousness. ‘You, ARE on the list, umm, yeah.’
‘YES YES YES!!! I KNEW IT!!!! I DID I DID!!!!!!!’ he overjoyed. ‘Wow.’ I said. ‘I bet you’re happy too.’ ‘ I can’t believe my eyes! Is it true or is it just me again? Is it,is it!’ he said,jumpin around and ignoring my statement. ‘WOAH WOAH WOAH!Calm down! I think you are overreacting yourself!’ I cried, trying to calm him down. ‘By the way, it also says that there is a lost box that your parents left before they died. So there IS a luggage in my Lost and found roo, so, that might be the one I guess.’
After some time ,we entered my room. Though we searched a lot, I still couldn’t find the box, until… ‘Hey look! I found a box!’ Mathew shouted not so loudly. ‘It says ‘Herdgates’. That’s my surname!’ I ran over to him and rapidly opened the box. ‘It is surely a mystery.’ I thought.

Chapter 1: Where it all began…
Hello, my name is Joshua, but some of my friends call me Josh. I worked in the most famous sushi restaurant I know of, called Nobu. One night, nearly 1 am in the morning, I was clearing up, but I started hearing heavy banging on the back door. I went to check it out but there was nothing there, so I went back to cleaning. It was weird, but something really weird happened the next night… I heard tapping on the windows and banging on the back door. I checked but nothing was there again. The next day I got a note in the mail box saying “go to work and don’t leave until 2 in the morning” so I did that and a girl appeared tapping asking for help she said “Help please its chasing me” I soon knew what she was talking about very soon…
Chapter 2: The bunamander.
Before I continue with my story there is a local legend that not many people know about called the Bunamander. One dreadful night a rabbit escaped from his home and the child went missing a day after the police found the child’s dead body but not the rabbit’s dead body or alive body. That was the rabbit. It could have turned into a demon. Somehow I let her in and locked the door and the window but it was too late. The monster got in and we ran for about 10 minutes. “I’m still wondering why are you here?” I asked her with a desperate tone of voice and she replied out of breath “ I heard a noise outside. I checked it out and before I knew it I was getting chased by that monstrous creature”. We got to my sushi place again and we stayed there until morning so we were safe that’s what we thought we went out and the girl was pale and asked for food and an agreed the next night I didn’t go to work until I heard in the news that everyone that went to work was murdered I was confused and my story ends here.

Prologue:
You have probably heard of Oddness-On-Sea. In Summer, villagers come to splash around in the salty sea as children run across the sand in the blazing sun. People normally ask for a triple threat from Charlie’s ice cream. You’ve probably visited the Seafull Cafe where people come after a great splash in the sea. This is what happens every Summer…
But in Winter, the frost spreads faster than smoke, as icy rain trickles down your window. Be there when it’s cold, colder than Antarctica. The fog here is so thick, you cannot see in front of you. People rarely visit here in the winter because all the doors are shut and no one dares to step one foot outside …
Chapter 1:
I’m Levi Hunter and I am the owner of my little cafe – It’s called the Seafull Cafe. Many people call me Lev. As the owner I normally clean the tables, serve my customers and think of ways to advertise my cafe. Someone told me that serving people as the owner of the cafe is unacceptable but I love helping my staff, especially during the busy summers. I go home every evening after closing up. The best thing about leaving work late is that I can see the beautiful sunset near the sea. Work in Winter is pretty lonely since no one even visits. However, working during Summer can be stressful since so many people love a drink after being outside in the scorching hot sun all day !
All of a sudden, I can see a girl standing in the heavy rain, she peers into the building. The curious girl slowly closes her umbrella and enters the shop. She has a frightened look on her face. I was about to tell her that the shop was closing but she looks at me, eyes locked. She steps forwards, towards me, and clutches my arm.“Hide me!” she squeals.
Before I tell you what happened next, there’s something you might need to know. What I’m about to tell you is our village’s little legend. This story was told so long ago that it has changed throughout the centuries. Legend has it that a creature wakes from slumber every night in the winter and roams the slithering paths of Oddness-On-Sea. Apparently it was called the Seamander. It had dagger-like claws, a scaly tail and it always carried a ghastly grin.
Some say that it wanted to take our lives. Some say it wanted to rule over us. Some say the beast was harmless. I’ve never believed in these legends but sometimes I see things in the corner of my eye that I can’t explain…
“What happened ?” I ask, a frown emerging on my face. “Is everything okay?”
“It’s there!” she pants as she points near the pier, “I’ve seen it!”

You’ve probably heard of the famous cheese factory in Cloudy-on-Sea.In the summer, it is an amazing place to go.
Chapter 1: The Mysterious Appearance
My name is Eddie Brown but people call me Edd. I work in the famous cheese factory as the janitor. People say I should get a better job because it smells and has a bad pay but I like it so I’ve had it ever since. One misty morning i was cleaning up for the customers when I heard a strange tapping noise coming from the basement(my room). I slowly made my way down to see what it was. I slowly peeked around the corner to see a girl screaming.”Let me in ! “ I opened the window and the girl slipped in . I took a long stare at her as she said, “Hide me !” I reply “Why do you need to hide” “I’ve seen IT !”
Chapter 2 : The Explanation
“You’ve seen what? ” said Edd “The R-Ratamander!” she screamed. Edd staggered back, but remembered what his parents said, that it was only a myth to scare children, but it didn’t feel like a myth anymore, it was getting real. A sudden thump came from the top floor of the factory then came a deep voice, “Eddie come up here NOW!” “Stay here” said Edd to her before he left he saw a badge on the girls shirt reading ‘Lilly’.
Before I continue this story there is a tale I need you to hear, one that was told long ago and not many details remain of it. There once was a tale of a mystical beast that roamed the stinky sewers and only came out during rainy days. It was called the Ratamander.
As I went up the stairs to see who had called me. I realised the factory was closed, goosebumps ran down my spine. I slowly came to the door where the thump came from. Slowly I opened the door to see no one was there. I started to sweat, my palms started to get sweaty and I took a step back and realised………..someone was here with us.

In summer,you probably manage to get free swimming lessons on a pool the size of the olympic swimming pool.Also you’ll probably got free ice cream sundae.My name Daniel and i’m usually called Danny boy.I work at eerie -on -the -sea train station where i usually just drive trains.Some people say i should get a better job and when I am chosen I dispatch trains,guard trains and signal around the area.One time,a girl tried to enter the train when I was guarding it but the doors were all closed and she got mad and tapping on the window and hissed let me in.So i decided to open my local doors and quickly let her on before I closed it back again before removing the guarding key back into my pocket and activated the signal bell then the train departed.’Hide me please!’begged the girl.Then Daniel bought her under the train chairs of no passengers.’Why are you here!?’
During the night, as Daniel finished his guarding shift.He asked why she was so scared or something.Then she explained about how there was this creepy creature around the train station and its name was crocommander.Apparenly it was a crocodile like creature with the tail of a t-rex! It smelled of fish and the death of its victims.It left damp,dead bodies inside the grave.They say that at night,it rises from the surface with an overwhelming noise,but everyone is sound asleep that they cannot hear this mythical creature.some say that it devours anyone who is lurking on the deck.Some say that it is as long as a limousine
Some even say that its razor sharp teeth can cut through anything.It more guarantee it comes at misty times because that’s the perfect time to attack when people don’t know where they are. Daniel was shocked to hear this news

My name is Hajra Syeda and I work at a local museum in Barking, and we do treasure hunts in the holidays and afterschool. If you finish the treasure hunt, by finding all the objects, then you will be rewarded with a chocolate coin. We also do face painting on Saturday. We tell them as well about the history of Barking and we also show them how the homes looked 150 years ago compared to how it looks now . There are also many activities for kids and adults , such as play areas ,all so many sites to go and visit,and a summer and winter club that you can join any time .Have a wonderful day.

You’ve probably been to Peace-on-Sea. In summer, you’ve probably let your toes sink into the soft sand, but in winter, you’ve probably been chattering your teeth throughout the whole day, with your boots crunching into the snow.
My name is Lisa and I work at the Westfield Mall . Most people call me Lily. I work as a tour guide 3 times a week. Someone once told me that when you work 24/4, you get a lot of money to go around the world, but I’d rather save it for greater things.
I’m bored at midnight, but during the day, I’m as happy as a bunny!
It’s nighttime, and our wonderful tourists are starting to leave our Westfield mall. Now that nobody is in our mall, it’s my time to go back to my apartment to have a good night’s rest, until as soon as I was about to open the door, I heard a knock on the window. It’s a boy, about one year older than me. I opened the window, and he just dived in and crashed into me, how rude!
“Uh-Uhm..” I stutter, “The mall is closed.. It’s very late young man–”
“I’m one year older than you, show some respect!”
“You barged into me first! Why should I– why are we acting like 10 year olds now!?”
“Oh, uhm, yes..” He clears his throat, gets up from the ground and whispers in my ear, “Run..” I squinted my ears at him, but I’m not one of those people, so I ran up the escalator, into the Taco Bell and hid behind the counter. I check the time, It’s 00:23. I just want to go home, sit on the sofa and watch YouTube on the T.V. Before I continue, I have a ‘story’ to tell you.It’s about the Bunnymander. The Bunnymander sometimes comes at night once a month. It comes all around London to scare others.. It looked cute, yet was a beast. Its jaws were tooth sharp and it had an unholy stench.
But anyway, I had to do something, in fact, where’s that little rascal?! I should go help him, I am a tour guide after all..
I go downstairs and see him, rocking back and forth on the floor, trembling.
“D-do you want to sleep at my place tonight..? I-I have a guest room for you and we could watch YouTube on T.V on the couch. I could also make–” He put his finger to my lips and shushed me. He whispered,
“Come, sit down and hide.” I blush.
“Are we going to sleep here or something?” Also, what’s your name? I’m Lisa or Lily.”
“I’m Daniel.”
“Cool, are the lions coming to get you, is that why you’re hiding?” I giggle a little.
“Not funny, at least I know your religion now–”
“Actually, I don’t have one. I just know because Google is my saviour, but Dan, why are we hiding?”
“C’mon” Daniel grabs my hand and takes me to the Nandos. “It’s bigger here.” We hid underneath the table and held each other’s hands tightly, scared for our lives..
“I just wanna go home–” We hear a noise from JD downstairs. I don’t want to stay here, so I say,
“I’m going”
“W- But Why?! I thought we were going to stay together!”
“Well, yes,” I say, getting up, “but I’m scared.”
“ ;( I believe in you.”
I gave Daniel a hug, and went down to Greggs. It smelt good there. Now me and Daniel have split up, but I hope he doesn’t get caught by anything, he’s probably hiding behind a door. Wait.. That’s it! I will just go to the front door and leave! Then, I can get some chocolate chip cookies, grab my coffee and sit on the sofa to watch YouTube on T.V! Then, I’ll watch MrBeast and–
“’Stop daydreaming Lisa! Get to work!” I dashed to the front door and went. Wait, why is the door locked? Just, open up! >:( Dang, this ‘bunny’ is smart. I’ll go to Starbucks then, it will be easier to sleep there. I go to Starbucks.
