Chapter 3 : The Lost Box

 You guys will not believe what I found! Mathew was on the list. So weird. I never had a lost child that just randomly ran into me! But I have no choice but to find some clues for him. ‘Your surname is Hertigatsies, right?’ ‘Correction ,Herdgates!’ Mathew snapped. ‘Sorry,’ I mumbled. It was so embarrassing! I had never, ever mistaken somebody’s surname before! So anywho, I checked the list. It read : 

            LOST CHILDREN

              Mathew Herdgates

      Emma signal

      Lily Waterloo

I just couldn’t believe it. I just couldn’t!!! ‘Well surprisingly Mathew,’ His face was boiling with anxiousness. ‘You, ARE on the list, umm, yeah.’

 ‘YES YES YES!!! I KNEW IT!!!! I DID I DID!!!!!!!’ he overjoyed. ‘Wow.’ I said. ‘I bet you’re happy too.’ ‘ I can’t believe my eyes! Is it true or is it just me again? Is it,is it!’ he said,jumpin around and ignoring my statement. ‘WOAH WOAH WOAH!Calm down! I think you are overreacting yourself!’ I cried, trying to calm him down. ‘By the way, it also says that there is a lost box that your parents left before they died. So there IS a luggage in my Lost and found roo, so, that might be the one I guess.’

 After some time ,we entered my room. Though we searched a lot, I still couldn’t find the box, until… ‘Hey look! I found a box!’ Mathew shouted not so loudly. ‘It says ‘Herdgates’. That’s my surname!’ I ran over to him and rapidly opened the box. ‘It is surely a mystery.’  I thought.
