Chapter 2

“Wait Malcom!” cried Olivia. “Let me rest!” Malcom stopped and flew down to land on her shoulder. “Who’s after the coin?” she asked after she had caught her breath. “They’re are called . . .” Malcom began but he was interrupted by a boy running towards them. “What are you doing” he shouted. “Hiya Theo! We’re going to Bluestar Manor. Want to come?” Olivia said, smiling. “Sure. Let’s go!” said Theo. They ran off and reached Bluestar Manor at sunset. Olivia opened the door into the kitchen and it gave a loud creak. They stepped into the house and looked around. The fire had gone out and the grate was cold. They went up the stairs and into Olivia’s bedroom. Every thing was just as she left it except one thing ; her father wasn’t here. Olivia grabbed her break out kit and they walked down the corridor to her Father’s study. Olivia picked the lock and the door swung open. Olivia, Malcom and Theo fell into the room in a big heap. Olivia shut the door and opened a drawer with her lock pick. Then pulled out a coin made of ivory. “Found it.” she was going to say but suddenly the door opened and someone stepped in. It was Dr Hassan, her father’s mechanic opposer! “ Hello Olivia and her little friends!” he said. I’ll just take that, thank you.” He plucked the coin out of Olivia’s hand and grabbed her and Theo by the arm and dragged them outside. He stuffed them in the garden shed and locked the door. Theo slumped onto a pile of sacks and said “We’re never going out of here!”
