Daniel’s poem
I would take the sight of my dad’s silver car shining against the sunlight’s beam, the happy face of my nan’s amazing dog called Dexter and the beautiful ocean giving all sea creatures life.
I would take the sound of my favourite song blasting into my ears, a monkey rustling somewhere in the bushes of the forest and a bird tweeting and singing in the tree behind me.
I would take the taste of a juicy cookie melting in my mouth, chocolate falling down my throat into my stomach and a nice, cold bowl of salted caramel ice-cream.
