The Ship of Dreams
On the ship of dreams
piles of gold lie cold and dusty,
if you listen you will hear seagulls singing
the baby blue ocean hits the ship.
On the ship of dreams,
sails blow side to side,
if you look up
you will see the midnight sky.
On the ship of dreams,
stars glisten and glow,
you will hear birds singing.
On the ship of dreams
if you listen,
you will hear,
the wind blowing
if you go to sleep you will dream of something wonderful
On the ship of dreams,
nets of silver thread are cast into the sea
the ocean laps against the glistening hull
the silent, silver sun rises above the water,
the ship was as big as a whale.
The plant was dying like the Sun setting.
