Dear Ma                                                                                                                                    Hope you’re doing great. I really appreciate the toffees you sent from home. The journey was excellent. I managed to get a window seat. I  saw lots of hills, you won’t believe it. I saw a baby lamb. It was so cute I nearly cried  because of how cute it was.

Once I got off the train we all went to town hall to get our foster parents. They all picked the big strong healthy boys or girls first but I was picked 10th.

I was with a young couple who I was delighted to be with. They have a hot water tap and fresh sheets every week. They hope you’re doing great in London. They asked if you’re getting much sunshine. How’s dad at war? Is he coming home soon?  People are saying it’s a phony war. Well Ma, I best get off.were going horse riding today.
