Dear Mum,

It’s been Christmas and I already miss you .But I’m fine,Iguess.I got here on a train and started to miss you and thanks for the hot potato.I ate it on my journey and fell asleep,someone woke me up, I thought you would come with me , but I remember you telling me I wouldn’t come back for a very long time.

I went to a home and no one said they wanted to take care of me.Then I went to another house and they said “yes!” I was so happy. I wanted them to be kind to me but they were very mean,when they thought I did something bad which I didn’t do.

We ate carrots,egg,bean cake,sugar twice baked potatoes,cereal,beef,wheat flour and instant coffee.My carers didn’t like me as much as the other son.For Christmas they got me knitted dolls clothes made from scraps of wool and handmade furniture from a doll house . People came round my house for a party and it was mine,it was my birthday. I got the letter from you, it was a wonderful letter.

The next day, we went to see all the farm animals ,i was so excited,I really miss you and I want you to see all of this, but you can’t, I love you and I hope I see you soon.
