chapter 3 the revel
Ressame’s school break was quite the adventure. She went to the lake with Edward, she picked flowers which lay peacefully on the field and fetched rabbits for Jacob to have. Her life was coming back together slowly but it was getting better it was a quiet in the new neighborhood she lived in. It was unreal her old home was loud and busy Ressame loved her new home.
At sunset, she went into the forest to entertain herself and Jacob. They sat together trying to catch fish next to the stream Ressame looked at the shining stars in the sky wondering if this was all a dream. Without warning Jacob fled and soon returned with a small bird and ate it. And soon the moon was up.
Ressame was anxious that some would discover Jacob in the day he layed low at the stream and at night roamed the woods. His dirty brown hair helped him blend in with his surroundings .
Then, one evening she was walking home from school and heard a banshee-like scream and a growl. Immediately Ressame ran and she approached the woods. There was,
the class bully. Lucus Miller with a terrified look on his face “ hl..h..help..” Lucus turned pale.
“Don’t move,” Ressame whispered. She held out a rabbit and Edward came running out of the house and spoke to Jacob. Lucus ran and ran into the distance. Jacob took the rabbit and fled.
Ressame’s heart pounded. What just happened? Knowing Lucus he will probably tell everyone in the school. She and Edward talked. They should hide him. Maybe deeper into the forest never to be seen again?
