Sleigh bells ring to be jolly,
Icicles hang from gutters,

Pine trees decorated
red, green and blue presents
under the pine trees.

The bike by Aimee

As the old rusty bike leans against  the tree, a silent spider creates a delicate cobweb with rain drops bouncing on and off the bike,

the dry, black paint peals off,

the flowers grow to make the dull bike stand out,

the flattened rubber tyres half show in the long silky grass,

the smell of oil escaping from the dilapidated bike,

it lies in despair, waiting.

You are Nature

You are the whisper in the trees,

You are the whistling in the breeze.

You are the crystal dew on the grass,

You are the droplets flashing on the leaves.

You are the smell of hot chocolate in winter when it’s cold

You are the leaves falling off of the trees in autumn

What are you? by Aimee

You are an elephant who is hungry after only having one nut for the whole day,

you are as horrible as Zero – once he hit Mr Pendanski with a shovel

you are  grass green banana being used as a phone by a grown man,

you are a vibrant red house blinking your windows open then closed,

you are nothing
