How To Care For A Pet Dragonling

Are you envious of other people’s pets? Do you wish that you could own a just as amazing animal? Why don’t you get yourself a pet dragonling? These are easy to care for and look after as long as you have the right materials, and are very affectionate pets. Following this set of instructions will make sure that you have the pet that everyone is talking about.

What you need

Lots of fresh meat (preferably steak); colourful and shiny gems and stones; soft, comfy blankets; a large, fireproof food bowl; a strong, fireproof harness/leash; a fireproof, lightweight saddle; a strongly fenced off area with some cool shade; and a big tub of boiling water.

What to do

Firstly, you need to find a dragon egg, or a dragonling (baby dragon). Dragonlings can be found in forests, and these are the better option because the weaker and smaller ones are left there by the parents. If you want to go for the more risky option, however, you will have to look for a dragon egg. It is best to look for smaller ones, because they will yield smaller dragonlings, which are much easier to handle. Hatching a dragonling will take a while, with newly laid ones taking around seven to nine months. You should take the egg home as soon as you get your hands on it, and place it in the tub of boiling water.

Secondly, take the dragonling to its den. This should be complete with soft, warm blankets; an outside area (with shade so that your dragon doesn’t overheat); a pile of around twenty to thirty colourful stones and gems; and a fireproof food bowl. The dragonling will arrange the blankets to its liking and most probably settle down for a nap.

Next, you must fill up your dragonling’s food bowl with different kinds of meats to see what it likes best. The majority of dragonlings mainly eat steak and chicken, but a small percentage like pork and gammon more. They prefer the meat raw so that they can learn to cook it themselves. Be sure to watch them when they do this, however, for you definitely don’t want your house to be set on fire!

If they have not already seen them, show your dragonling the gems you have gathered for it. You giving it the special items will make it extremely happy and your pet will love you even more!

After that, use your fireproof leash to take the dragon for a walk and get it used to the lightweight saddle so that you will eventually be able to fly it. It should have four walks a week, and they should be spread out evenly throughout the week.

Things to be aware of

You should regularly check your dragonling’s scales to make sure that they are in tip-top condition. If you do find any damaged areas, you should immediately sterilise and bandage it up to prevent it from getting infected or worse.

What are silent?

What are silent?

What are large?

The Himilayan Mountains, the universe and the feeling of great joy.

What are small?

A miniscule mouse, a lonely raindrop and a speck of sunlit dust.

What are hot?

An Italian pizza oven, an erupting volcano and an idealistic summer’s day.

What are cold?

An unforgiving, heartless soul, a tray full of ice cubes and freshly fallen snow.

What are pretty?

A spectacular sunset scene, a wide and wonderful ocean view and a rainbow after a rainstorm.

What are memorable?

My tenth birthday, a young baby’s tottering steps and going to the cinema for the first time.

What are easily lost?

A single black hairclip, the answer to an important question and information from years ago.

What are kind?

A  compliment on your appearance, a small, innocent child and a soft, warm smile.

What are cruel?

An adder’s venomous bite, a merciless gunshot and a heartbreaking lie.

What are silent?

The pain that comes with betrayal and sadness that noone will understand.

I have never set up camp in the Amazon Rainforest by Alexandria

I’ve never set up camp in the Amazon Rainforest…

I have never eaten noodles on the streets of Shanghai,

but I have chomped on chips at the seaside market.

I have never gone inside Buckingham Palace,

but I have been in the Norwich Castle Museum.

I have never leapt out of a plane to skydive,

but I have jumped high on Jacob’s trampoline.

I have never tickled a tiger playfully,

but I have played with Maddie the dog on the green.

I have never gotten a gold medal for winning the Olympics,

but I have gotten a Golden Demon pin for getting to the semi-finals.

I have never beaten a professional chess mastermind,

but I have won against Sam at Magic The Card Game at The Hobbit Hole.

I have never swam the English Channel,

but I have paddled in the sea at Gorleston Beach.

I have never raced Usain Bolt,

but I have ran with Amelie down Park Road in Manea.

I have never set up camp in the Amazon Rainforest,

but I have built a champion den in Manea woods.

I want to paint

I want to paint

Maddie, a cute canine companion running around the green , grassy garden,

A bright book, bursting with brilliant ideas,

The idea of a thrilling throne, glistening , glorious and golden, where all your dreams come true,

The delightful sight of a newborn baby lamb, prancing around in a sunny field of fantastic flowers,

I want to paint

The sound of fire crackling, its mesmerizing flames dancing as it hungrily gobbles oxygen,

The taste of oven baked broccoli, doused and drowned in gravy,

The smell of baking bread, warm and fresh in the bakery

I want to paint

The memory of when i went to Bewilderwood, tall trees ominously and imposingly towering above everyone and everything,

The impossibility of plants shrinking instead of growing, as if they were going backwards in time,

I want to paint

The idea of a multicoloured bee, buzzing with all the colours of the rainbow and more,

The satisfaction of finding a super-sized, scarlet strawberry, the biggest in the patch,

The difference between the great heat in the Sahara Desert and the chilling cold in Antarctica,

I want to paint

The shining white snow on a winter’s morning, reflecting the sun’s golden rays,

A rose-red Mazda RX7 tearing down the A-12, faster than a stroke of lightning,

I want to paint this last line.
