Blog challenge

As snow fell, Tom waited silently in his ruined flat. Suddenly his phone rang in his pocket. He pulled it out. He put it to his ear, listening cautiously. He crossed the room with vigour while picking up his suitcase. Then storming into the abyss.

Although there was an odd sound i played my music loudly.

Blog challenge 3

As Bob ran down the bumpy road, he fell over.

The hobbits hid while the thunder roared.

The goblins attacked Bilbo while he was asleep in his dark cave.

The robust cart  came to a wheezing halt as Gandalf strode into the hobbit hole.

Jim, who was interested in the idea, called his humble friend.

As owl are are nocturnal, they have excellent eyesight, this means they are active at night.

I have Never

I have never seen the Northen lights but I have seen a galaxy twinkling at night

I have never danced with a polar bear  but I have boogied with my dog Rocky.

I have never raced against sonic but l have jogged to the park with my dog Rocky.

I Have Never…

I’ve never …

I’ve never  heard a furious lion growl while chasing it’s prey.

But I’ve  heard my dog moan.

I’ve never seen a Pegasus flap it’s beautiful  wings.

But I’ve seen my friends groan and their shoulders slump.

I’ve never caught a discus in Greece from a cyclops.

But I’ve played fetch with my pugaleir Elsie.

I’ve never  jumped  wildly over  mount Everest.

But I’ve jumped over a pebble at Penmon beach.

I’ve never ridden a dragon breathing red hot fire.

But I’ve ridden my funny dads shoulders.

I’ve never walked along Hadrians wall.

But I’ve visited Conwy castle.

I want to paint…

I want to paint . . .

A little girl that’s about to cry.

A plane gliding in the sky.

A cloud about to burst rain.

The sound of someone in pain.

Cheetahs running very fast.

A desert full of sand and its amazingly vast.

The taste of ice cream in the sun.

The memory of my friend helping someone.

The sound of someone singing and in serenity.

The smell of flames of fury from some wood.

Flowers spreading as fast as a cheetah on the ground.

Sounds of alarm bells ringing because there’s a fire around.

The hotness of the sun burning.

The little moves of the world turning.

The distance between humanity and animals.

The memory making friends.

I want to paint how this poem ends.

how to care for a baby snow owl

How to Care for a Baby Snow Owl

What you need: frozen caramel wafers, freezing cold water, a 6m cage, a snow machine and a white, fluffy heart-shaped pillow.

Have you ever asked for a baby snow owl for your birthday? Are you wondering what it is like to own a pet owl? Let your worries fly away! Follow these steps and your pet owl will be happy and healthy and you will have fun and enjoy it.

Steps:

  1. First, fetch the snow machine and place it cautiously in your winter land otherwise your snow owl will escape through a tiny gap in a window.

  1. Next, freeze a few caramel wafers in the freezer. As a result, they might be so cold they could give you a brain freeze.

  1. Then, grab your 6m cage and carefully position it in the corner because your pet might want a nap in the cage.

  1. Also, create a warm space using white, fluffy heart-shaped pillows as your pet owl will probably be very tired and fancy a nap.

  1. After that, pour a lot of water into a massive container so your pet owl can have a sip whenever he wants.

  1. Later on, collect some leaves and paint them white and grey so that it looks like it has snowed inside.

  1. Finally, make sure you have some trees that have lots of branches. This means that your owl will be able to rest on it.

Snow owls are lovely pets to have but they will grow up and have beady eyes and become more alert. When this happens, they will know they are not where they live and might be scared. When you fall asleep they will leave your house, but if you keep them clean and they still felt warm inside, they could come and visit you from time to time.

A Unicorn in Bristol

Plum Sylvester, correspondent The Mystical Post

We are interrupting this programme to bring you breaking news of a sighting of a Unicorn near Bristol Zoo. It was seen yesterday at 2.45pm by two elderly ladies who were walking with their dogs, when suddenly they started barking like mad.

When I arrived at the scene the police had cordoned off the entrance to the Zoo and there were lots of photographers trying to catch sight of the Unicorn. I went to talk to the ladies that had seen the Unicorn who said it landed nearby and had a bright white glow surrounding it with it’s Unicorn colours glowing brightly.

They say that Unicorns are thought to be good and pure creatures with magical powers. We understand their horns have powers to heal wounds and sickness and neutralize poison. This is a very rare situation as Unicorns are very difficult to catch or see.

Flown a Clay-Made as gigantic the Milky-Way

I have never held the shimmering moon in a metal basket,

but I have petted a snipping crab, whose claws are as sharp as a shard of glass.

I have never ridden a blue-ringed octopus as fast as a leopard, at the bottom of the frozen Ocean,

but I have sat on a black-spotted horse in Kent in the Little Forest Ponies Club,

I have never swum with a hammer head shark whilst riding a cosmic dolphin,

but I have followed a school of silver fish whilst pulling a front crawl,

I have never flown to Saturn on a clay-made pig as gigantic as the milky-way,

but I have soured on a bumpy aeroplane to beautiful Spain to my holiday house,

I have never climbed to the top of the rising sun with a grapple-hook,

but I have clambered to the top of the monkey bars which  are as mossy as a rainforest,

I have never captured an African penguin with a poisonous apple,

but I have trapped a wriggling shrimp in an extendable net.
