The place to place emporium by ZaraD

Lily noticed a venerable plane on the old dusty floor: the plane was covered with dust; a sign it had not been played with in years; the wing was bent but could be repaired; the plane was grey and black with badges on either side. The plane started to move; it was trying to get her in. She walked over to the plane to find out what was happening and then it started doing it again.

“I see you have found my war plane,” the mysterious voice shouted, as a black cloaked figure appeared from the darkness. The black cloaked man took another look at Lily but then put his eyes back on the plane; he hoped lily hadn’t played with the plane. Lily was shocked that the owl on the mans shoulder shook its head.

“My name is Mr. Luciano!” he stated.

The Uncovering by Matthew J

Tiffany spotted a shining mask in the corner of her eye, she observed it for a second. She couldn’t resist not going over; it was like it was dragging her in. The mask had a smiley~face in printed on it.She picked it up.

”I see you have discovered my old mask,”  snapped a mysterious voice appearing form the darkness. The voice hesitated, then desired to come out from the shadow.

Tiffany replied: “Who are you?” Wide~eyed, she took a step back. She wondered to run or listen to the voice. Taking one more step back, the voice entered the light then answered: “ I’m Archie the owner of the shop aka the Edmond of magic.

The devil palace-bang into history-chapter 2

Jemima googly-eyed the shop sucking up everything in her wobbly path. There were shelves galore! Some yellow , some with stripes and some just plain wood. Jemima (who adored reading) dived like a dolphin through shelves of books, comics or just paper.

As she stepped up for a breath, she hit her head on a dusted (dust covered) hard-wood shelf. From the commotion of the critical hit, an antique gun (god knows how old) skydived from the shelf.

A crusted trigger warm with history wrapped round Jemima’s finger. It wreaked like must and dust. Rich with history. The whispers of war and peace wrung out her brain like a wet tea towel. Her daydream was crashed by a hollow voice.

”To pull the trigger would cause quite a commotion,” Drained a voice as a lanky-limp man hobbled form behind the counter and round a red velvet curtain peering wearily at Jemima’s shaker hands trying hard to look cool and collective hoping ,wishing almost, that she would not make the mistake “he” made, “ Not to mention the damage.”

”Sorry-? Uh what gun? Uhm- I mean. Uh forget it, I’m sorry!” Squealed Jemima switching between sticking the rifle behind her back and draping in out forwards.”I’m sorry I’ll put it back !”

Chapter 2: the book of marvels by Harry

Poppy witnessed an old, delicate book deposited on the side; it was beckoning her to come closer and closer. As she got closer she could already tell that the book has been well-loved over all these years; she could hear a voice telling her to open the mysterious , old, delicate, legible book…

“I see you have found my book of marvels” he hissed, concernly, as he took one more look at poppy, then back at his book of marvels, as he hoped that she wouldn’t go anywhere near the book.

“My name is Luciano gold” he stated, whilst staring at poppy with a cruel look. “ This is my book of marvels and you shouldn’t go anywhere near it! You can look but not touch” he bellowed, thinking will she be the first one to obey him?

Discovering the future by Abbie

Storm noticed something, an object dangling down in the distance. It was a painting. Unusually, it was strangely appealing and intriguing for such an ancient looking portrait: it’s frame was ornate, bronze flowers intwined around dated metal rotting away; the figures were fading although their frowns and ghost-like eyes told a story like none other; the background was gloomy and the rigid edges of the wildly painted mountains spiked up and down – it was inviting Storm in. She wandered towards the captivating painting; it was irresistible.

A mysterious figure emerged from the dark outskirts of the shop, revealing his face from under his mask – which to him was like the escape from reality. “I see you’ve discovered my painting,” he wondered curiously if she was the one, the special one. He was hesitant at first but eventually edged forwards closer to Storm,”Do you like it?”

Reluctantly, Storm replied, hoping it wasn’t a terrific trap that would embarrass her. She was courageous, she thought, so she tightened her knuckles and stood sturdily whilst struggling to keep focus on the man and maintain a smile. “Yes very much, it is very… intriguing and… interesting.” Well I’m not lying, she said to herself, I was drawn to it.

The creepy portal by Elsie

Poppy noticed an old ,cracked door awaiting for her at the end of an alleyway. The door seemed very peculiar and odd. The door was fixed with cement and unable to open. Poppy found a rather large rock and started hacking at the cement; it crumbled off with ease. The door beckoned her in which made her curious; she opened the door and lightning struck. She walked in…

“I see you have found my underground emporium,” the man stated, looking into Poppy’s eyes mysteriously, almost like a snake putting you into a trance, ” I didn’t think someone like you would be daring enough to even walk in.”

“Oh, I’m sorry, was I not meant to see this?” She asked nervously wondering if this strange man was upset or happy I stumbled across his emporium.

” No it’s okay, well what are you doing? Have a look around!”bellowed the old man. This man was extremely energetic and lively, he seemed very excited for me almost like it was a plan..

Chapter 2 into the portal by Josh

Josh was perched on a stool in the middle of the store, when he noticed a bright red car in the corner of it. He got up and doddled over to it cautiously. When he got over to it he could hear the car talking to him to persuade him to open the door and get in.

”I see you have found my lucky red car” announced the store keeper with a loud and scary voice but at the same time he was rather stern.

the boy just nodded as he saw the man was holding something in his hand but the man put it behind his back and pretended the boy didn’t see it.

”You are alright to look around, but please don’t touch anything”the man thought he would obey him but once again that rule had already been broken a dozen times….

The emporium of wonders. Chapter 1 by Maddie

Coraline peered at a sweet jar of mouth-watering Lemon Drizzles, perched on a low cabinet, standing out from the rest:it’s jar was immaculate , except from a little note, that spelled: ‘eat me but only one, who knows what could happen’.It’s lid had a silver diamonte, stood on top, silently looking over the workshop. It was like it was calling her over, yet it was making no noise.

”I guess you have found my jar of Lemon Drizzles” ,murmured a voice from below her. Coraline smiled, crossed her feet and lent on the hard-wood table. He knew she had been eager to reach for a sweet; yet he had hoped she took no notice of the note and would of found something else to keep her amused.

”Y-yes I have” she stuttered. Her heart was pumping; the back of her head was sweating. She wondered whether she should a bite, she smiled again and started to stare at the jaw dropping sweets. She thought of the flavour dripping down her throat ; her eyes widened. She would follow the instructions, she would eat only one ; it didn’t seem right, what if it was too good to be true…

The comic by Billy

Harry noticed an ancient comic which had dust covering it and it was riped up and looked impossible to repair. It looked very venerable and abstruse. The Conner of the book was broken .

“ I see you have found my comic “ a figure gasped in the darkness. The figure took one step forward with fear in his eyes As he stared at Harry, he hoped that Harry didn’t open the comic.

“I what took the book “Harry stuttered slowly as he moved a way.

Discovering the magical door by Rebecca

Lisa noticed a magical door standing up-right: there were nails on the wood which gave a sign that it had been broken before; there was a peep hole up near the top, however it was sellotaped up; the handle was hanging on for it’s life with only 2 instead of 3 screws. The door was whinning at her, calling for her to open it, so she took a step towards to have a look, hearing a voice.

”H-h-hello?” anxiously stated Lisa, as a slow breath came out from Lisa’s mouth. She took one step towards a figure then stepped back again nervously; she hoped that she hadn’t woke anyone up. Lisa gasped in shock as an old man stepped out. Sat on his shoulder lent a blue striped bird that nodded at the man.

”May I help you?” the old man asked, glancing at her disgustedly, until she moved over, carefully. “This is my shop. You like it?” Lisa didn’t know what to say so she just looked down. “This is my magical door of adventures. You can have a look at it!” He walked off thinking if she would listen, but then realised: no one ever listened.
