Evacuee letter

Dear Mum,

Thanks for packing me lunch (I loved the cheese sandwiches).I really miss your cooking. If you find a pack of chocolate-chip biscuits (stolen from the cupboard) I think you should ask baby Eva if she ate them because I didn’t take them.

 

Anyway, I was wondering if Dad has written us a letter? I know he’s busy but I just miss him.

Also, has Eva learnt how to walk yet,is she standing up? I’m sorry that I’m being very chatty-the children at school even said that I talk too much

 

Don’t worry I do have a friend : it’s an abandoned kitten. I feed it carrots from the farm that I live on. I got fostered by a mother whose husband went to war and has a daughter who is 14.Even though we’re 5 years apart she still protects me when she can. Her name’s Lily and the kitten’s name is Fluffy. Me and Lily have to milk the cows, collect the chicken eggs and feed the chickens. I wish I was allowed to visit the sheep but I can’t – maybe I can one day .Oops I’m running out of pages, I guess I have to end this letter.

The ship of snakes and slaves

The ship of snakes and slaves was full of sadness and cruelty.The hammocks twisted and turned like snakes. The ropes had the body of a cobra .

The slaves were tortured and misunderstood. The ship of snakes and slaves had people being treated badly but they also had rumours.

Every slave that got thrown overboard or died by the poor treatment turned into ghosts.Not just any ghosts, Snake Ghosts,they could turn into ghosts anytime they wanted to.

The ship of snakes and slaves sometimes had bad days like when the wind was so hard and the ship grounded or the time when the ocean had gigantic waves that almost made the ship sink.

To this day people say that the slaves are still haunting their enemies taking revenge on the people who wronged them.

Happy Mr Softy

As soon as smiley-faced Mr Softy galloped into boring, gloomy class seven, the sad class immediately change expressions.They became smiley-faced just like Mr Softy.He was obviously well-fed with a kind face and looked like a playful puppy.

“Settle down children,” chuckled the new teacher,”I hope you have fun with me today.”

a dancing door,

a whale waving his tale,

and someone screaming on a roller coaster.

a gold chest full of diamonds,

a spooky haunted house with cobwebs every where,

and the energy from the burning hot sun.

 

I would take the smell of,

stinky blue cheese in the fridge which is expired,

red roses that smell like a freshly baked chocolate cake,

and dynamite that has exploded on top of a chrome book laptop.

I would take magical chocolate that can never end, because I like chocolate.

 

I would take a fluffy blanket with me, because that can help when I am cold.

 

I would take as many pillows as possible, because it would be more comfortable.

 

I would take a bookshelf, because then I can store all my books.

 

I would take all the beast quest books that I have, because they are fun to read.

 

I would take as many toys as possible as I like toys, because they won’t make me bored.

I have never seen Mars, 

But I have seen the stars

 

I have never cooked, 

But I have eaten chips from the local Sainsbury’s.

 

I have never been to Brazil,

But I have went to the nearest park

 

I have never seen a Giraffe,

Dead town hall

Marina stared around the hall. Floating candles hovered in mid air dripping with deep crimson blooms. Cobwebs clung onto the wall. The air smelt stale. From an uncertain place came a noise. It sounded like someone was scraping a fork against a plate. The sound was deafening. She had no time to find out what it was. All she knew was that was not what she was looking for. But in the corner of dead town hall there was box; inside the was a pendant she was seeking.

The old man

Outside, the wind was a ghost haunting the city. They grey clouds restlessly grumbled. It released a torrent of rain which poured down with a roar. Lightning pierced through the sky.  Inside an abandoned and desolated building lived a old man with a grimy beard which was clogged up with food. Nevertheless, he was the most wanted person in the city. Inside his house was a mess he had food chucked everywhere his bed not done and the most horrendous thing – rats.

The bike begger

The bike leaned against the mighty birch tree longingly begging for someone to ride it.

The bikes wheels sunk into the grass with sorrow.

The bike that once had wonderful memories now had barely anything.

The pedals that used to propel now we’re tangled with ivy like a spiders legs.
