chapter 3:

Chapter 3:

We ventured into the dark woods. Within five minutes of walking Pipkin started to see light maybe it was a hut or maybe a clearing. We started slowly then started to jog and then broke into a run. As we got near we started to hear birds whistling and cheeping and the sound of rushing water. When we got there we couldn’t believe our eyes, it was beautiful.

Everywhere we looked in every direction there were plants and trees and greenery. We had never seen anything this beautiful in our lives. Out of the corner of Pikins eye he saw a little cottage with puffs of black smoke bellowing out of the chimney. For about a minute they stood looming in front of the grey cobblestone brick work patterned cottage. Then suddenly they stepped forward as though he was to challenge someone.

Things that i will never do

I Never

I Have

I have never ridden a bright blue phoenix across a glistening blue lake but I have cycled my bike down Coombe lane.

I have never felt the light velvet of the Queens night time gown but I have stroked the fluff of a dog.

I have never touched lava but I have been to Lanzarote and visited a volcano with my brother.

I have never seen the eagles scanning the skies for prey but I have seen a pigeon up in the sky.

I have never jumped off the Shard but have climbed a tree with Morgan and Mia.

I have never seen a pack of wolves howling at a full moon but I have seen a campfire flickering in the night sky.

I have never climbed the Eiffel tower but I have climbed to the top of a tree.

I have never been to the top of mount Everest but I have been to the top of Big Ben and looked out over the beautiful city.

I want to paint…

I WANT TO PAINT

I want to paint the sun smiling down at a gorgeous island.

The eagles soaring the skies scanning for prey and the fireworks shooting into the sky making a colourful picture, monkeys chopping metal as though it were grass and the silent ripple of the stream as it flows away into the distance lake were it glistened in the moonlight sky as fish floated by.

I want to paint wild fires flickering in the blood red sunrise.

A pack of wolves howling at the silver whispering moon and the faint memory of my long lost granny the smell of creamy milk chocolate filling my nose with a sweet smell, reselling of the autumn leaves as children running around screaming.

I want to paint a bright blue phoenix spreading its furious green wings.

I want to paint my thoughts rushing around in my brain. I want to paint a sunset with numerous colours shining beautifully. I want to paint the warmth of a cup of tea.

I want to paint the end of this poem!!!
