My Biggest Fear – Face To Face With A Living Doll!

One day I was out in the garden watering the summer plants, when I heard an unfamiliar noise. I turned around but saw nothing. ‘’It is just my sister playing tricks on me” I thought. Then I heard an extremely creepy voice say, ”hello”. I looked over my shoulder and saw a terrifying looking doll. I SCREAMED!! AHHHH! “My name is Ava”, said the doll. There was a deadly silence! “Hold my hand”, she said in a croaky voice. I did not want to but she grabbed it! Then we were teleported to a Creepy, old house. ” What is this place”, I said. Then it all turned black…….

Postcard From My Garden Gnome

Hello Anna,

 

Did you notice that I’m no longer in the garden? Well, I was bored of our fences and flowers, so I looked up some cheap flights to Brazil and here I am! I’m at the Rio Carnival. It is epic!! The people are wearing the most incredible costumes, with feathers, glitter, ribbons and sequins galore. There are amazing acrobats, magicians and the dancing is out of this world!

The food is great too! I am having a burger right now. It’s soooo good! Hmmmm! Delicious! You would love it! Well, I’ve got to go, the music is bumping and my feet want to dance!

Where Is Gus?

One morning I woke up, jumped out of bed and went down stairs to feed my dog Gus, but he was no where to be seen. I sat down on the sofa and had a think of where he could have gone. Was he still asleep? Had he snuck out the cat flap? Had mum taken him for a walk? I was really confused so I called the family down to have a family meeting. We sat on the sofa and it felt fluffier than usual, almost like it was made out of dog hair. It also felt like the cushions were moving around. Suddenly we heard a barking noise. Were the cushions actually barking? We looked under the sofa and there he was! I guess he was just sleeping there all along. There was me thinking that Gus had transformed into the sofa. Now that would have been weird!

Dear Fellow Earthlings

Dear Fellow Earthlings,

I have to leave earth to go to Mars. I am incredibly sad to be leaving you all but a MARSelous adventure and facilities await me!

The Adventurer

The crash.

The bus stopped as the storm blew, it shook violently and the passengers peered out of the window into the foggy void. They were on a thin bridge.

The bus swerved because of the wind but the driver pressed the breaks desperately, stopping the bus with its front two tyres hanging off the edge of the bridge.

Monster Car Wash

In a deep dark wood, there was an old rusty car wash. It had moss, leaves, bird poo and branches blocking the entrance. No one dared to enter, no one but a girl called lily. There were no car washes near her home, so she had to go to one in the deep dark wood. She bravely drove into the creepy car wash and she was shocked to discover, eye ball soap, lava water and intestine towels hanging high from rib bones. Lily tried to escape as fast as she could but she fell into a monsters mouth never to be seen again!! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

The Magic Balloon

It was Tom’s birthday, he ran downstairs excitedly. Next to his presents sat a beautiful balloon that shimmered and sparkled. It had a tag on it that said, Magic Balloon. Tom reached out to the string of the balloon and before he knew it, he was touching the clouds. He felt like he was a bird soaring through the sky! ‘WOW’ he shouted happily, ‘where are we going?’ ‘We are off to Planet Candy’. ‘Happy birthday Tom’ said the balloon. They landed on Planet Candy. There was candyfloss, ice cream, chocolate, gummies and a heap more! Tom dived right in! This was the best birthday EVER!! With a tummy full to the brim, he hopped on the balloon and it drifted back home in time for bed.

Inside, the people looked outside of the clear window.

Outside, the people huddled together in hope for warmth.

 

Below the surface, people drove through the eurotunnel.

Above the earth, astronauts gazed at the sight they saw.

 

Behind the line, people sighed impatiently.

In front of the line, people gazed at the entrance with excitement.

 

Beside the tree, people leaned on the hard surface and read books.

In the treetop, people climbed quickly to the top.

 

On the boat, people danced and jumped in the air.

In the water, people splashed and swam underwater.

As soon as jolly-faced Mr Cloud walked softly into class seven, the familiar room immediately appeared to turn bright. He was thin with a comforting stare rather like an angel sent down from heaven. ‘Settle down children, ’ whispered the new teacher, ‘I am happy to be in this class!’.

I entered the library of masks and saw a

collection of vibrant colours, it felt like they were calling my name. 

 

I wore the red mask, my head clouded with anger,

like a small human being was constantly 

muttering in my ear.

 

I wore the yellow mask, my heart felt like it was being filled with warm sunlight, every problem I had drifted away like a

boat sailing off to the sea.

 

I wore the purple mask, the secrets of other people whispering

longingly into my ear like they wanted to be freed from

being held in prison.

 

I wore the black mask, everything was silent, almost like I had been transported into a void no one had access to. My body felt empty like a water bottle being drained.

I wore the gold mask, I felt like I was bathing in liquid gold, everything I own had been raised up in value. Like a bird ascending higher into the sky.

I wore my mask, I can finally be myself. Even though all of the other coloured masks were nice, this mask was even better. It was…me.
