Dear Mum,
I have arrived in the countryside now. The train journey was good and I even met a new friend called Harry. Harry even gave me some sweets so I gave him some chocolate in return. He kept on talking so I wouldn’t lose my mind .
When we arrived, I was one of the last kids to be picked. The people who adopted me were very nice. They had a bathroom in their house and they even had carpet. They bought me some new clothes and gave me a full English breakfast to welcome me. I got a new foster brother and sister. They were very nice too and played with me all the time. When it came to bed time I got a bed all to myself.
My new school was good. I got better at reading and writing which is how I’m writing this right now.

Chapter 3
During the night, Zippy was getting really flustered. “We will never get out!”
“Don’t worry, I am sure we will. Inopy, is that you?”
“Yes!” said Inopy.
“Can you try unlocking the door?”
“Yes I will see if I can find the key, it should be in the bedroom.” But he couldn’t find it. Sadly, they thought they had no hope at all, “Well I better get going or your aunt is going to catch me.”
Zippy kept trying to find an escape. They saw another key they tried but that didn’t work either. Charlie kept losing hope while Zippy kept trying. “Get up and help me!” said Zippy.
“There is no point trying now, ” said Charlie.
She went to the door and kept trying to open it. “Please just help me Charlie for once,” Zippy got so mad he kicked the door.
Just as Zippy was falling asleep, he heard a noise out of the window. She went and looked. It was Inopy, “How did you get up there? My mean step aunty put me up here, just come here and I will give you some wind ups.”
“What is happening?” said Charlie.
“It’s my macmhanimal,” said Zippy.
When Inopy was full of wind ups, a key dropped. Zippy went back to the attic door, tried it and it worked. Charlie looked left and right to make sure his aunty would not catch them and quickly ran.

Inop, the mechanimal, looked across the other side of his airship and noticed another ship chasing him. Inop noticed the airship following him had a harpoon pointing at him. There was a big bang as loud as a dinosaur’s roar. As the other ship landed, Inop smelt loads of smoke as he was coughing and spluttering. Spinning towards his master, Inop barked, “Master! What do you want me to do for you?”
Chapter 1
In the middle of the night, Zippy woke up. Everyone was still asleep. He crept to the door but it was locked. He went to the window and jumped out of Royal Boys Grammar School. He ran as fast as he could to get away from that school. He had a bit of money on himself so he ran towards the bus stop. He stopped to take a breath. One of the teachers saw him but it was too late, he was driving away.
Zippy noticed the note he had dropped on the floor. His mother and father had gone to jail. His eyes filled with tears. It was stuck in his head, why had they gone to jail? He remembered the last word his parents had told him i love you then his parents ran away
Zippy turned around and saw Inop, who must have followed him. “I’ve been hiding out in the forest for ages, oh come here and give me some ticks!” Inop said.
