Inop, the mechanimal, looked across the other side of his airship and noticed another ship chasing him. Inop noticed the airship following him had a harpoon pointing at him. There was a big bang as loud as a dinosaur’s roar. As the other ship landed, Inop smelt loads of smoke as he was coughing and spluttering. Spinning towards his master, Inop barked, “Master! What do you want me to do for you?”

Chapter 1

In the middle of the night, Zippy woke up. Everyone was still asleep. He crept to the door but it was locked. He went to the window and jumped out of Royal Boys Grammar School. He ran as fast as he could to get away from that school. He had a bit of money on himself so he ran towards the bus stop. He stopped to take a breath. One of the teachers saw him but it was too late, he was driving away.

Zippy noticed the note he had dropped on the floor. His mother and father had gone to jail. His eyes filled with tears. It was stuck in his head, why had they gone to jail? He remembered the last word his parents had told him i love you then his parents ran away

Zippy turned around and saw Inop, who must have followed him. “I’ve been hiding out in the forest for ages, oh come here and give me some ticks!” Inop said.
