The Enchanted Emporium!!! Chapter 1 by Chloe G

Have you ever wondered where the one place that is almost invisible is? Well this Emporium was like that. It was oozing with weirdness and no-one ever had a second glance at it. There was dazzling, shimmering chandeliers swinging motionlessly from above. The Emporium sat still with jewels poring out of the windows. A golden eagle was perched on the desk and it stared stared helplessly at you, drawing you in. Despite all this no had ever set foot inside the Emporium.

No-one dared to enter, until Rose!

CHAPTER 1

Rose had always been curious about everything that crossed her path. She was intrigued by every little thing. One glamorous evening, Rose spied an Emporium and travelled inside.

She stared helplessly at the objects before her eyes. Inside a barrel of swords and armoury , a spiky spear rolled around in circles. The fire crackled evilly in Rose’s ear like a devil’s calling. A golden, glistening chandelier waved gracefully upon the ceiling. The rain poured on the window like footsteps making Rose shudder. Rose reached out a hand towards the diamond encrusted book-shelf in the corner of the room. The ancient dust tickled her nose as she spluttered. An elegant candelabra lit up the dimly corridors.

But Rose was interested the most by a mysterious book. Rose gazed at it longingly. Suddenly she heard a voice!

Chapter 2! The Enchanted Emporium!

“I see you’ve found my Book of Enchantment. My name is Thomas Gold.” he whispered eerily, gazing into Rose’s emerald eyes.

“I was just having a look round ,” exclaimed Rose, shivering in fear.

“Fine but do not touch my book at all,” declared Mr Gold, staring at Rose in a disapproving way.

In an instant, Mr Gold vanished down a mystic corridor covered with ruby rosette curtains. Rose heard a whisper. It was calling her. She was so anxious she didn’t even know she was bitting her nails. She started to wonder if she was alone so she could peek inside the book. Rose tiptoed to the corridor and peered down the hall. She saw no one but instead a million doors lay there. Where did they lead?

Without thinking Rose spun around, she hurried to the Book of Enchantment. She opened it. Rose flicked through the pages, intrigued by the wonders that lay before her. There were vast oceans, mountains, treasures and more. She couldn’t believe it.

As if by magic, a pen appeared in her hand. She drew a waterfall and underneath a small village lay still, awaiting someone. And inside held her most desired treasure.

Suddenly, the book started to guide Rose along the corridor. Rose peered at the many entrances to other room. It was incredible the amount of doors in the corridor. She arrived at her destination and opened the door in anticipation.

Rose entered the room. She couldn’t believe her eyes. It was astonishing. Rose gazed at the waterfall and her village. She sniffed the air and smelt baked bread. It’s appearance looked exactly he same as she had drawn in Mr Gold’s Book of Enchantment. Rose couldn’t put her hand on it. Without another thought she walked into the village.

My Enchanted Emporium!!! By Chloe G

I tiptoed into the room of dangerous dinosaurs,                                                                                                            and searched for the terrifying T-Rex.

I entered the room of snow,                                                                                                                                                 as the cold fiercely bit into my hand.

I stood in the room of flight,                                                                                                                                          and saw wings that flapped like a butterfly.

I walked into the room of sweet treats,                                                                                                                        as vegetables transformed into chocolate.

I stood in the room of rock stars,                                                                                                                            and heard a horrendous noise as if someone was screaming.

I stood in the room of music,                                                                                                                                   and listened to a silent song in the moon light.

I swam into the room of furious floods,                                                                                                                        as I searched the sea for my missing memories.
