Moon

Callum and George Darton Primary School

#DPS9

Moon

Is as white as a swan

Like a football in the sky

Is a light in the sky

It is as far as a star

Like a diamond in the sky

Is a dream you can see

Is as big as your imagination

Nature

As the wind moves like the majestic sea

The trees sway like the river down the stream

The flowers are brightened when the sun comes out

The light is as bright as the sun

The moon shines like a silver ball

The grass sways as the wind howls

The leaves move as slowly as a snail

As the field sway in the light of the moon

Roots tangle like a bowl of noodles

I think nature is beyond beautiful in every way

Rain-drops

A rain-drop is like a glistening gem falling from the sky. Like a tiny glass smashing on cars and rooftops. Like the tears of God. Like the grounds medicine. Like a doctor to trees and plants. Like a mother to fruit. Like the sadness of the sky. Making the clouds feel ill.

The Moon

The Moon

It’s like a glowing eye in the galaxy staring at the world

The same size as the dwarf planet Pluto

It’s as round as a giant football

And as fast as a racing car racing around the earth

Star

Star

Like a dashing gold trophy in the blue night sky.

Like a planet far away.

Like rose gold jewellery flying to heaven.

Like a shining, tiny sun that only comes at night.

Like a light bulb in the night sky.

Trees

Blakely and Charlie-

Trees

Crooked arms reaching out into the field

Leaves cascading like lost feathers

Bark wrinkled like an old man’s skin

Falling like buildings in earthquakes

Roots tangled like a ball of string

Dying like people  in ww2
