The Mystery Chapter 3

Astro sat patiently in the abandoned shed, facing something that wasn’t there, while Sophie foraged immensely for a path out of the abandoned house. She checked the dusty window, but it was too little, barely any light shone through , and shouting helplessly for assistance didn’t work. She tried to force the door with her hair clip, but nothing worked. Furiously, she gave her anger to Astro for not helping, “Instead of watching me like a miserable person, you might at least help me!” Unfortunately, Astro just sighed, saying there was no escape in or out. Sophie crossed her arms, tapping her foot impatiently and with anger.

As dimness fell, the shed became a dark shady room. Inside, shadows crept in the shed and soon the moon was the only thing they could see. Outside, in the night sky the moon cast it with hope and admiration. It gave a glimmer of light into the dark shed. Unexpectedly, Sophie heard a sound. After a second, a pair of eyes peered into the window.

A silent bark resolved the darkness and glowing into the dim night, it was their neighbor’s dog called Cooper. Cooper dropped a small escape key into Sophie’s hand. Using the key, Sophie attentively unlocked the dusty door. She and Astro went outside in the dark yet magical night, following Cooper across the safety lawn. There, Sophie lit up a fire while Astro explained their new discovery. They were free, but questions occurred: where is the ancient locket, and what happened to Ava George and her airship controls?

Brightstorm

Sophie George moves away from Get Talent Academy for teen girls, holding a letter with dreadful news: her mother , Ava George, has gone missing- her flight crashed on 19th July. Her last heartbreaking words, “Save yourself and save time,” the last words of her mother brought a devastating and an edgy feeling.

Beyond the heavy feeling, she ran through Autumn Avenue, then she stopped at a nearby bench to think of her mother’s words. Just  then she found her lost mechanical dog, Astro. Despite the crashed airship incident, Astro was a loving mechanical dog made by her mother. Sophie helps Astro revive his sharp wit and steady companionship.

Later that same day, Sophie and Astro visit Starbury Town in search of her late mother’s treasured ring. It was beautifully placed on a silver platter, she kept it on her bedside table, giving comforting and  reassuring dreams.

To Sophie, the ring is more than any object; it is a precious piece that reminds her of her  mother’s love of the life she has lost. But Astro suggested that there might be a clue with her mother’s death, making Sophie think about what Astro had said.

Caused by Astros reasoning, Sophie gets back on her feet. “We have to go and investigate,” said Astro, as they planned a journey to Buckingham Palace to take the watch before it gets into the wrong hands.

Dreamville

 Dreamville

It’s hard to imagine that the lovely  Dreamville could fade into the dark. Sadly, the forest is under deforestation and the outcomes are tragic! Will you rise and help us to save Dreamville?

The indescribable Stargazer that only grows on the highest most precious mountain provides many rare fruits and foods. The Jostaberry provides rich vitamin C and energy. This means that everyone is well-fed. However, this flower has been destroyed by the illegal harvest company. As a result, the people of Dreamville are losing their sustainable diet and, worryingly, scared that their culture is at risk.

Additionally, the Forest of Eternity has been bulldozed by the banned logging companies that have come from other states. They have stolen more woods than usual, making the forest deteriorated. The environment is being attacked by contamination. Constructors have been cutting up the woods and tearing the leaves down. Some animals who live in the forest are being killed by the constructors.

Habitats are being flattened and the trees are being poisoned, killing the animals. The state of reports cannot go further. Let’s work together  to defend our forest. No one but a fool  would let this situation continue. I would urge you to follow us in this battle. Take immediate steps and visit our website-see details below. Remember you can change the world! Bleeding heart

Bleeding Heart

Bleeding Heart flower has

petals like ice red cubes,

Its stem is desperate for water.

The leaves are

like ruby diamonds

that move when the

light-blue sky gives its fine rain.

It shows the flames of emotion

with tears of gratitude.

At night the stars shine

bright at the bleeding heart.

The petals glow brightly

as the moon glances

at the flower.

When it blossoms

the morning sunshine

shines brightly.

Dreamville and Neverbelieve

In the land of Dreamville,I watched many beautiful, majestic creatures happily walking around in the sun.

In the land of Dreamville,I found a rainbow over a mythical castle, shimmering in the golden sunshine.

In the land of Dreamville, I watched the silver stone, glistening and dazzling on top of Dreamville.

In the land of Dreamville, I touched lovely, emerald green grass of morning dew.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I saw tremendous, dangerous waves crashing into rocks, then transformation into humans.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I found a terrifying, fearless pantha, walking in the dark!

In the land of Neverbelieve, I felt a memory of the winter snow leopard, running into a pile of dazzling snow.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I found a terrifying, ear screeching scream, coming from an ugly Goblin.

In the land of Dreamville, I saw a beautiful daisy that went up in the air and into the treehouse.

Dogamander

I’m on my feet running but there is a back of the cave facing me.The red glows and has tiny freckles of gold. We are trapped! Just then Sophie starts to talk, in a lovely, soothing voice. “Everything is going to be OK,” she says, taking a step. I know that she’s trying to calm herself and release her fear. The Dogamander stops and bends his head by the side. Its red bloody eyes are fixed on us. “We’re not harming you or your egg. We’ll keep you safe.” Sophie pulls her hands out to show that she is no threat. They stand firm and stare at each other. The Dogamander seems to listen. It gives bark; the spines on its back lowers. I think your plan is working. Sophie is having a chat with the Dogamander and it’s working!

We were on our way home,” says Sophie, stepping one step to the side and together we walk past the Dogamander. Its eyes locked on me and I see the depths of the sea, the glitter of so many tiny, red sparks of life. It bows its head as we pass by, safe at last.

The mist is clear. The bright moon shines and the star reaches the dark sky, their reflection sparkles In the sea. Time stood still and blank. We walk towards the promenade and talk. No one and I mean no one should find the Dogamander and her egg. Sophie goes on and on about what we need to do. She has many ideas — pretend there’s a meteorite and report to the council. Get more posters to put up, stopping people from the end of the beach as the hills are unsafe. I listen as she speaks at a pace for half an hour. She may win a trophy for talking the fastest.

By the time we arrived we were walking through the town, the town was still awakening. The sun  shifts over to the still sea. It shows shadows on the other side of the stands. Billy-go-Lucky is taking out some deck chairs as if it is going to bring a lovely day for once. He says hello with a happy grin at the side of his cheeks. Henry’s Heart is opening and he’s right inside sipping a cup of tea. Mrs Teacup & Robin Jaxel shop. She puts down some piles of beach water wings for little kids, umbrellas and beach boards with all the colour you could think of. By the very time we get to the museum, traffic already starts. Cars past us to the seafront car park.

All evening, Sophie has her books stuck to her nose, records and ancient books. In a volume, she finds a captain’s log written in 1868. It is the story of a fishing net.  The fishermen always believed that a huge smooth and silky stone that glows in the dim light. They kept it a secret so no one and I mean no one seemed to find it till this day. Ever since then, the fisherman have vowed to capture and kill any species of mander that they might find.

That evening, we talk. Our adventure isn’t over but it will get the better of us; our quest has just begun.

Dogamander

We sit on our benches, waiting patiently before I said, “What did you see?” In the middle of the night, I hear a storm coming. Even before she said anything, I thought I knew what she was trying to say. She may have seen the Dogamander.

Twenty minutes later, we are outside in the wilderness, retracing Sophie’s footsteps. I knew I should have stayed inside, entering my little room with the heater on mighty blast. All I can tell is Sophie, for that is her name, is the most bossy and annoying person I have met! The air gale blew up so hard that we were almost dragged with the wind, but luckily we didn’t. In a distant thunder crack and lighting strikes in the sea like a daggered claw stretching down.

We passed 7 eleven, a donut store and an ice cream shop. Many of them are boarded against the impending waves. The gas is empty and only a few cars scurry by, late for home.

Sophie dragged me towards the pier and saw huge footprints. More of a claw than a toe at the end of what looked like two legged feet. The ocean surges up and fast as the beach is smashing the struts of the pier. Together, we investigated and followed the footprints as the rain lashed together against us. Then out of the forest, something or someone howls in the dark night.

I felt it hard to breathe with all the fog in the way. At the very moment lightning strikes, It shatters the window and breaks down the door. Across the room, something howled and growled heavily, it sounded like a monster. Scared, but a little brave we decided to take a tiny look. Is something there?

Very quietly, Sophie went forward but I stood back by the door, shaking out of my lungs. I can make out something different. Someone makes a noise, I must be mistaken it may be the Dogamander, larger than a tiger with a terrifying sight. The smell of rotten fish fills the atmosphere. Like a huge tiger, it pounced on Sophie.

Outside, the lightning strikes again. Inside, there is a sudden change of light. The Dogamander crouches, leaps in two swift movements and a dust of wind covers the area  like a swift move. I went inside, took Sophie and ran away. The Dogamander was at a distant table. We entered the arcade where it was crowded. The Dogamander came in and we used that chance to escape before he saw us.

Dogamander

Dogamander

You have mostly been to Sunset Island. In Summer, you mostly played with the sands, making sandcastles and jumping into the warm waves of Sunset island. When you arrived there you saw a creamy delicious ice-cream van, in your presence, deckchairs set properly and rockpools to explore.

But in the cold winter, you might have felt the bitter freezing cold shivering down your spine. You could try to be there when the snowflakes fall or you could taste the snowflakes on your tongue. Few people visited in the past. Even the local community leave here to relax… they have a good reason.

My name is Aurianna Christinna and I work at the local seaside museum. Most people call me Auria which is short for Aurianna. I’m the museum’s caretaker who polish the classes, sweep the floors and so on. Someone once told me that being a caretaker was a terrible job but I really like it. I have a little room in the museum which has a little fireplace to keep me cool and warm in the winter. I’m often lonely but I don’t really mind because I have my dog to keep me company.

A girl taps the window and hisses, ‘Open the door to let me in!” I stared at her, But eventually I caved in. I asked her what she was doing so late when the museum was closed. She didn’t speak but she sat on my ship’s box. Immediately, she says, “Hide me!

Before I continue what happens next, there is a story I want to tell you about our town that is what I should tell you. It started so long ago that no one dared to remember the date or much detail. Some legends say of a monster that comes out of the sea and walks on the streets at night. Apparently, it was known as dogamander and only came out in the dark, they say if you’re outside at 9:00 pm sharp you’ll be eaten out of your lungs, and you’ll be left with bones. So everyday people sleep at 8:50pm. People call it the devil’s time.

Some people say that the creature has been in pain as some people tried to kill the dogamander, who has been eaten to death, so no one dared to fight the creature. Back to the present, in the rainy weather, the wind makes a strange noise that might be mistaken for something sulking. “Why do you need to hide? I hissed back at her. “What’s the matter?” “I’ve seen the dogamander!” she says, “Look sharp – draw the curtains.

the airship adventure

You have probably been on an airship when the skies are cloudy blue and the wind is just perfect to give the power source in need. Think of how it feels to own the breeze, gusting through your hair to notice the field and cities far below the ground.

I bet you’ve been amused by the holiday flight over the cove, adventures waiting to see the far away relatives, acknowledging that once you have reached  your destination you will be able to modify for some weeks. But you should also try out the amazing trips when the winter clouds blackened, for that is another matter. When the rumble erupts like a cannon fire surrounding you and thunder strikes, would bring the airship crashing down , when the raging strains and ships power source falter, that’s why an airship trips is not so much fun…

And some people say, they’ve seen sky diving pirates, hiding in the rusty clouds, waiting to attack you certainly won’t believe this but some say that tremendous flying beast with claws that can tear apart even the durable mythical beasts flesh swells.

 Chapter 1

Oliver held the fence, his carpals beach white. He restrained himself as the fluffy clouds inundated the airship floundered from side to side. They had left their hometown behind about a month ago and were passing the ginormous hill ground, but the storm had blown them off course.

At that minute, the blue sky was covered with pterosaur strikes. Oliver saw the three of the pterosaur among the cloudy sky and roared ahead of the cosy airship. Captainess Melody pulled to one corner, just avoiding the disaster of the swifting movement, forcing the engines as hard as she hesitated.

For a minute of silence, the fierce pterosaur vanished into thin air into a huge thunderstorm cloud to conceal. Thunder rumbled around them, and they cracked open. Oliver looked at Ava who was looking at the telescope, but it showed the glimpse of nothing. The clouds blocked its magical view. “Hold on tight preparing for landing!” Captainess Melody looked over the megascope.

A minute later, the cosy airship dipped under the clouds filled with air and discharged the airship. As they strolled down the battered road together in the huge thunderstorm. Oliver and Ava looked up searching for the ptearosaur. Has she managed to evade them?
