Chapter 4-Caves

Chapter 1-Farewell Home

They hurried to the room.

That morning, a message had arrived with a Magpie carrier to say that there’s bad news. The Gorm were only a few miles away from Deepwater Warren. No one could survive not even the children. The warrens tunnels were built many Bramblemas years ago so it wouldn’t be safe. Its walls were crumbly the roots were as thin as paper.

So it was the three little rabbits Sam, Lucy and baby Siah that had to leave. They geared the weapons, food and clothes that they needed for the journey as it was going to be a long one.”Where are we going” cried baby Siah clutching onto the bag “I want Mum.”.

Before they set off they went to their Grandpa for advice as he’d always go on adventures(when he was young).”What should we do?” asked Lucy impatiently.

“Run just run” said Grandpa and before he could finish his sentence they heard a scream.

They set off on their adventure starting at the tunnel. It started shaking as the Gorm were on top fighting the soldiers. The roots started ripping. They dodged the dirt and stones falling from the ceiling and dashed to the exit.

As they exited the tunnel Siah moaned  “I’m tired can we go to sleep”.

They decided to build a den for the night using sticks, leaves and snow so that it would blend into its surroundings.Hopefully this would stay up for the night.

                                                          Are they safe..

Chapter 2-Troll town

The three rabbits woke up knackered as it was very uncomfortable laying on the snow hugging each other so that they wouldn’t  freeze to death. Sam was up first eating a sandwich (that their Mum packed). Then it was Lucy and Siah. They checked the map and it showed that they had to pass Troll town.

Their journey began and it was freezing cold. They only had short sleeves for their shirts and a pair of trousers. The snow was smacking against their faces giving them no eye sight.

They tried their best not to leave footprints but it was impossible in the snow because of how soft and thick it was. All Sam could think about was his Mum and if she was alright. Tears started to build up in his eyes.

The deeper they got into the forest the more chuckling they could hear, that meant that they were near. It started pouring with rain. They heard the Gorm approaching on their giant iron rats. They jumped into a hole and hoped that it would be good for the night.

Could they survive…

Chapter 3-The Giants Mountains

They woke up in the squished hole surprised that the Gorm hadn’t  captured them, as it was quite obvious that they were seen last night. Inside the hole, it was hot, so hot that Siah was about to cry about it. Outside, it was a blizzard making the hole blend in with the snow. They decided to climb out and get into Troll town.

Just as they climbed out of the hole there was a Gorm  soldier waiting. Terrified, Lucy grabbed Siah and Sam and dashed off as quickly as she could. She was running fast like a cheetah.

In a split second, they were at Troll town. Exhausted, Lucy dropped the two boys down and fell to the ground. It smelt musty as they were inside an abandoned barn. Hopefully, they were alone. Whilst Lucy rested Siah gazed outside. “Bird! Bird!” cried Siah.

“Not now Siah” said Lucy. A minute later, they could hear iron clanking against each other. It was the Gorm. Sam leapt up and grabbed Siah. This time it wasn’t a soldier it was a whole army. Quickly, they hopped onto a bike and zoomed off. They decided to go to The Giants Mountains. They could hear the iron rats catching up to them, it was a horrifying experience.

An hour later, they were at their destination. Luckily they were alive. They lost the Gorm somehow. They found a bush to stay in. Just as they ran in Sam felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned around.

                                                  It was the Gorm…

Chapter-4 Caves

The group woke up inside an iron prison, rubbing their eyes wondering where they were. They were inside the Gorms Layer. It smelt like death as they could see the soldiers making sharp, long knives with fire. Some were even talking about their next attack which was going to be at the hotel, Caves. But worst of all they saw the Gorm leader, Ironface, get ready for battle. His sword was as sharp as a needle.

Podkin was frustrated, as his dagger wasn’t able to cut through the cage. He decided to start kicking it. “Please stop Sam” whispered Lucy tiredly. Out of nowhere Sam had an idea, he could cut through the wall behind him as it wasn’t iron. He started by doing little stabs until the hole was big enough for them to fit into.

It led to a path that would take you to Caves. They headed in. It was quite tight to fit into. As they exited the tunnel they noticed something. Outside Caves was their

How to look after a troll!

How to look after a troll

Have you just found a troll in your back garden? Are you wondering how you can look after this creature?Fear not.As all the information you need is in this text. You will be able to turn this monster into your bestfriend.

What you need: a dark room that’s between 5 celsius and 2 celsius, a Southern Black Widow spider that it can eat, pretty flowers like Orchids, fake edible snow that it can eat and play in and smooth soft grass.

What to do

First, you need to put grass in the room (it can be fake if you want as it’s still grass).

Next, you will need to cover the grass in snow as these creatures are mostly found in Canada so they will need it.

Then, talk and play with this creature (pet) .These animals are very playful. You could fix their hair too as it is very messy.

Also, provide the spiders as trolls get very angry when they don’t get food daily.

After that, take your pet out after eating as they will become lazy.Make sure you don’t have any cats or dogs around as this animal will bite them.

Later on, give it a bed but not a human bed as that is too big.A  dog bed would be perfect.

Finally, put the radio on and put it to bed as it will fall asleep quickly.

Trolls can be wonderful pets but when they are old you will have to release them.Trolls are faithful creatures so if you treated it well it will come back to you.

Everything Is Special

Everything Is Special

It doesn’t have to be

the taste of a hot delicate sausage roll from Country Park

or the glistening water in the River Ouse

or the cheering from Leisure Centre

that sounded louder than a plane.

It could be

a single spoon glistening in the sun inside of your kitchen,

or the book in your classroom waiting to be read,

or a lonely plastic bag floating in  the ocean.

Be as wise as an owl;

mysterious and clever,

notice how even a drop of snow can lighten your day,

and everyday things are special

in its own kind of way.

Unicorn Spotted

Unicorn Seen

Last week,Theo Jones,11 years old, spotted a unicorn breaking into the Houses of Parliament with its horn through a clear white window.

Theo. who lives half a mile away from the Houses of Parliament was walking his giant, white Husky until he heard a CRACK! That sounded like a firework. He told the Informer that when he looked through the window he saw a unicorn that’s horn was sharper than  a knife and it had skin half red half black. He went on to tell us that it had black wings the size of elephant ears.

When ‘The Informer’ interviewed Theo yesterday, he told us that he was super excited but also quite nervous too, as it was breaking in.He added that “Unicorns are really rare to see so it is amazing to see one in person.

London police have warned people to contact them if they sight this animal on the loose.Dr Dan told us that it is a fire flying unicorn that is a carnivore.

The Fire Flying Unicorn

 Wednesday 3rd – Friday 5th November 2021

The Fire Flying Unicorn

Introduction

The fire flying unicorn, which is a blood red flying horse, can be found at the bottom of a volcano. It can swim in lava and also fly, it has been seen by child that almost got eaten but luckily escaped. The child has told everyone (including the police) but no one believes him.During lockdown periods it has become really lazy and so lazy that it only eats on Halloween. For many years scientists around the world have been studying these species but no one has found it since 1967 by Joey Richardson.During summer you can find it flying outside it’s volcano for 10 minutes every year.

Habitat

The fire flying unicorn lives in Mauna Loa as it’s colossal and has hot burning, bubbly lava. If a human touched the lava their skin would turn black unlike the unicorn. It likes  to stay away from humans as they like to hunt it. If it wants to sleep it goes in a hole that was built by the unicorn and curls into a tight ball.To have a bath it  falls into the lava and keeps rolling over until it’s done ten laps, which usually takes a more than a hour to do.It smells like death filled with bones, skulls and splashes of blood. It used to be a town full of humans but then a volcano started growing so they all left and now we know it as Mauna Loa

Appearance

Would you be able to recognise The Fire Flying Unicorn if you saw one?It has a matte black tail that is smoother than silk that you can’t resist touching.Like most unicorns it has a horn but not an ordinary horn,it has a horn spikier than a hedgehog that could give you a cut that feels like your  being stung more than a thousand times. It’s twenty hands tall with skin as red as blood, eyes that if you stare into you would straight away sprint like Usain bolt knowing that it would attack any moment. They have Wings that make them fly quicker than speed of light. It has a sign on it and when the sign lights up that shows how angry it is.Their kicks could break Moissanite(the strongest object in the world).

Diet

It likes to have 5 kids or adults on Halloween as humans usually hunt these kinds of animals, the texture has to be smooth or this animal will burst out with anger. The reason it eats humans is because it has been captured many times by the military in 1917 (during WW1).If it eats anything except humans it will start swelling up and slowly fall to the ground. So if you want to capture it throw anything you see at its mouth.

Behaviour

This animal has a very uninteresting personality as it’s very lazy, always tired and very selfish, and when I say selfish I mean so selfish that it doesn’t let any animals in, not even its own parents. When it wants to relax it relaxes a bit to much as it lays in the scorching hot lava and sleeps for a year(i’m not lying), and makes loads of bubble. The reason why these animals aren’t extinct is because they get mistaken by the Sorrel horse.

Closing Paragraph

Many people believe that if you capture these creatures you will get good luck for the rest of your life.If you find this animal do not approach it stay away and call the police as you will be putting yourself into a very big problem, you will need to take a picture for evidence as the child that saw it did not.We usually want to save animals but this animal has to go.Let’s capture these animals and live peacefully!
