You are a forest

You are a forest  

beautiful and kind like a new world inside a soundproof box.

 

You are a pebble 

rolling on the forest floor looking for a place to stay for the night.  

 

You are a waterfall 

flowing through the forest making splashes every twist and turn you take.

 

You are the autumn colours

 on the forest floor looking beautiful all year round.    

 

You are moss

 snuggly and soft. 

I could use you as a blanket .

 

You are a leaf  

crunching on the forest floor in all shades of red, pink, green and orange.  

 

You are a fish swimming through the crystal clear water. 

 

You are a woodland animal

 scurrying through the bushes.

 

You are a tree 

with rough bark and sticky sap.

 

You are a single blade of grass

 covered in rain drops .

 

You are a insect 

scurrying round the trees and watching you at every move.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3

James had no clue how to keep a pet leopard healthy and secret. He had a tent in the garage so he decided to take it. He told his mum that he was going camping with his friends so she let him go. He was going to sleep in woods with the leopard until it’s ready to go back into the wild. At night, John snuggled up with James and drifted to sleep. The next morning he left the tent with John and when to go home for some snacks. Luckily, John was still in the tent completely asleep. James woke up John and gave him the snacks. John’s favourite snack was shockingly the loaf of bread! He kept on bringing bread until one day John was gone.

James waited hours for John but never came. Just when he was about to leave the tent John came out of the forest but not by himself with twelve other leopards! Now how could he keep thirteen leopards a secret?

Chapter 2

James went out for a hike on his own he felt lonely but he still loved the feeling of the fresh air. It was the midday, when an animal started pacing up to him. When it came out of all the fog it was obvious what animal it was. It was a leopard! James looked at his eyes which wasn’t a good idea because he started running faster. The polka dots on it’s skin were as black as a void. James stepped back and immediately starts picking up his speed. He rushed back to the city until he thought he was safe. 

The leopard sneaked up to him but instead of pouncing on him he slowly walked up to James. James was surprised and jumped up but the leopard stayed calm. The creature lay down.

After a couple of minutes, James had the courage to go and stroke the majestic creature. It purred a calm purr when James stroked it. He decided to call the leopard John. When John and James started walking John was limping. Stupidly, James wanted take John to the local vet. 

When the arrived at the vet, the vet actually figured out what happened. John had been run over by a tire and broke his leg. The velvet said that he should be healed in three months. How could he keep the animal a secret for three months?

Poem

My secret is made from-

the sugar from the sweetest of sweets,

the magic from Dr Strange,

the fluff from a warm coat,

and the the horns from the sheep.

I found it-

floating over the ocean,

caged there still as a statue,

trying to escape the prison,

lying there like a sleeping lion,

as it blew in the wind.

This secret can-

make others obey your orders,

make anyone smile and feel happy even in their saddest moments,

stop someone’s anger getting out of hand,

and can silent someone in an instant.

If I lost this secret-

someone could have it and take control of the world.

The Train of Nightmares

The engine goes, the smoke rushes through the broken windows and then everyone goes silent.

It starts up and it becomes faster by the second.

Eventually, the train is going so fast that all you can see out of the windows is a blurred field. 

The train slows down and you can see the crack in the railway.

It starts to pick up the speed again!

It races into the broken track.

The vehicle gets launched into the air.

You can see the smoke through the shattered window speeding past.

Poem

The pair of football boots is

as dirty as a pig that was having a mud bath,

like a someone threw them in the bin.

The frog is

as green as new cut grass in a huge field,

like a cricket in the bright sun.

The football pitch is

as long as a giraffe’s neck,

like a skyscraper.

The pencil is 

as sharp as a knife,

like a blade of steel.

The strand of hair is

as thin as piece of grass,

like silk.

Prologue 

I am Tom Yuggi and I work at the Element Farm. At the Element Farm I feed the; the Orcamnaders, penguins, cows and the Cowamamders. People are really jealous because the Element Farm is the number one best farm to go to in the summer. I sometimes feed are Happy Eagles and Owls

Chapter 1

Before I tell what happened I need to tell about this horror. I was feeding the beautiful Orcamanders when I spotted a five legged Elephantamander. People say that the Elephantamander is a legend and no-one lived to tell the story. Instantly, I ran to the amazing Cowamders. “Cowamamders run for your lives” I said in Cowamnder. As quick as a flash, we all ran away towards the penguins. I also can speak fish and shark so I told them to swim for their lives and the Orcamanders told the penguins to swim for their lives as well. Luckily, the Elephantamander is very slow like a snail. Orcamanders can also walk on land and they run as fast as a sound. All the animals and of course me jumped on the back of the Orcamanders and ran for our lives. Eventually, we got to the barn house and hid in the hay stacks. Suddenly, the Elephantamander popped up in the barn. The Orcamanders jumped up to fight the Elephantamander but they failed and sadly died. The Cowamamders were smart and ran for their lives. The Orcamanders landed on the Porkamanders they lived.

Chapter 2

Hours later, dawn struck. The Elephantamander was still lurking around the dirty, green pond. The Orcamanders jumped onto the back of the Elephantamander but agin for the second time failed. They were thrown into the hard concrete floor and sadly died. There were no more Orcamanders left in the Element Farm. I called my best friend.

Minutes later, he arrived I told him about the Orcamanders and the Elephantamanders. I showed him the Cowamanders and he said they should run. They started running out of the farm. I told them to go to my house. Luckily, there was no-one in the house until nine a’clock. Petrified, I grabbed the hay and through it on Jordan (my best friend) so he didn’t get spotted. We saw a fire exit at the back of the old, dusty farmhouse.

 We ran out of it and didn’t stop until the farmhouse was not to be seen. 

We sprinted into an abandoned ice cream shop to see the light switch next to our arms. We flicked it on to see amazing and gross unknown flavours like fish and chips, sausage and the most disgusting cabbage. The delicious flavour was the ocean ice cream that tastes like bubblegum with little fish sweets in it. As fast as light, we scooped up everything even the disgusting flavours and put it on one cone. It tasted like heaven. We didn’t stop eating it until our stomach were extremely full and I had a huge tummy ache. Instantly, I realised something. The ice cream shop is abandoned so that means the ice cream has been sitting there since it go shut down. I searched up on my phone when the shop had been close and it said it had been closed three hundred years old!

We flicked it on to see amazing and gross unknown flavours like fish and chips, sausage and the most disgusting cabbage. As quick as a flash, I tried to hide. Oddly, Jordan just stood there. He told me he would destroy the mysterious, murderer creature and save the world. I’m a smart person so I let him know he has a 100% he going to die or be captured. Disappointed, I tried to think of another way to persuade him not to fight of the beast and probably die.

Minutes later, the scraping got louder and we both started hearing stomping echoing down the corridor of the toilet. I decided to scram. I asked Jordan if he still wanted to die and shockingly he said yes. Suddenly, I realised he had a bomb in his hand. I begged him not to sacrifice himself for the world but he ignored me. The scraping stopped. The stomping stopped. It was as if it disappeared…

Chapter 4

We walked home. We went to bed. In the morning the amazing, the terrific, the Gary’s got Toys shop was re-opening! At 6pm we ran over to the shop (it takes 2 minutes to walk) and saw the biggest line on earth. It went all the way the Preston which was 36miles away!  Luckily, Gary is my uncle and he let me cut the line. Sadly, the police arrived and asked why am I cutting the line. Obviously, I would get told off if I told the truth so I said I was late for work and I worked at the window cleaners and then got fired for blowing up a window so I got hired here with Jordan. That could have gone 10 times quicker. The police left us to cut the line. We got to go in before the shop even opened and got to buy anything we wanted for half price. We bought 1 of everything and it was only £10. I mean £100! I had to ask my mum for the money. She said not in a million years. I said what about a million and one? She said never! I only could afford a trampoline but it was only for mini figures. I went to work to see the Elephantamander! It was eating all the animals. All of last night I watched a movie called how to you Elephantamander. It showed you how to tame Elephantamanders easily. I tried to be calm and keep it calm and guess what it worked! I took him home and started feeding him the dog food until he looked sleepy. I put him in my bed and I slept on the couch. I didn’t know that it’s trying to kill Jordan.
