Rufus glared out of the summer sets window as he watched the midnight murder got closer.

He saw the cannons pop out the side of the airship they looked as menacing as a bat swinging towards someone’s head.

He heard a bang from under neath him it sounded like the midnight murder had blown up the side of the ship up.The sound was as  alerting as a air raid alarm going of in the middle of the night.

He smelt  a terrible gassy smell leaking from one of the drain pipes it was as strong as a petrol tanker leaked all over the road.

Pacing towards his master Rufus roared” we need to jump”.

“No I have to stay with the ship” ARGHH” screamed Rufus.

Pacing towards the door, Jason Wilder was heading for lunchtime

The boys at saint Bridgertons academy for boys were more stupid then a group of penguins they could only understand when it was time for lunch. They ran towards the dinner hall. When Jason had got to the field he had to lean against the tree to catch his breath.

Out of the blue , Jason heard a distance roar .Jason being curious headed towards the sound . Surprisingly it was Rufus!”you’ve taken your ticking time haven’t you “ “sorry”replied Jason “give me a wind up will you this travelling takes it time you

know”.Jason smiled and wounded Rufus up.Rufus purred in satisfaction. His fur had been singed from the incident.

That afternoon ,Max was surprised to see Jason and Rufus wandering around in the back of blue way valley.obviously it’s your father book. Jason nodded sadly.

This book was very precious to him and his dad . His dad always read to him before bed.he remembered a time when him and his dad where reading it on the couch. All evening,Max sat looking cluelessly at the floor., However Jason pacing  around basement looking for a way to get out.

He spent sometime banging on the  door  trying to pry it open . Their  was a missing floor board but it was to small to wriggle through.

Every once and  while Jason snapped a bag of frustration onto Max “ instead of just sitting their like a stuffed pig your to have to do something”. Shouted Jason. However Max still sat their looking cluelessly at the floor. So Jason went up to the door and booted it with force but it did nothing because it was rock solid also he hurt his whilst doing that because of the door being rock solid . He kept banging on the door looking for a way to get out.

The children sat in silence.It was very awkward between the two children. Jason was tapping his fingers together impatiently .Max looked like he had just given up. By now it was very dark. Inside, shadows stretched to every corner of the room. Outside, the house looked normal and their air was crisp and damp.

Jason and  Max both heard a growl it was RUFUS!! But he was drought and tired he blurted out “need a wind up “ Jason panicked and grabbed a stick from inside the basement and got  Max to hang him by his legs so he could wind Rufus up. When he could reach he got the stick and jabbed it into the keyhole.

Rufus urgently banged the door open and gave the key to Jason .”let’s get out of here”  exclaimed Rufus.

Jason searched in his pocket for his key.when he found his key he had to try three different on his key chain. He tried the first key no click he tried the second key no click when he tried the last key finally he heard the click. When he turned the key in the door the creaked open . WhenJason stepped  inside the door slammed behind him.

    Jason and max sprinted towards his bedroom. When he entered the room it was scruffy and dusty and it had cobwebsin the  corners of his room .But  was glad to see all his stuff was the same as he left it when he was sent to boarding school. His posters of adventures he had planned and football kits .

Luckily Max spotted the book on Jason’s  desk it was secure !

  Curious max flicked through the books pages on one of the pages was a not saying that he could find  a map in a briefcase near by .No wonder your father has enemies .

“So that’s what this all this fuss is about” asked Jason looking at the note.

“Precisley” came an iced voice from the hallway. Immediately Jason realised it was it was DR.silverwell

her dad said he was the school bully when he was young.He took his top hat off revealing his scarred eye  he smiled at the children but the smile lacked warmth.”I’ve top waiting for you to lead to that briefcase “ added DR.silverwell. “I’ll have that “ DR.silverwell snatched the boom from Jason’s hands.

Few minutes later,Jason and max were trapped in a deep dark place in a basement of a house.standing up max started screaming.Jason looked at why max was he realised it was just a spider so he smacked it a some speed because it left a mark on Max’s arm.They we’re both covered in dust. The basement  stank of gasoline . “We’re never gonna get out of here” groaned Max “oh yes we will and we’re going to rescue my father” replied Jason “we’re probaley just going to die in here” moaned Max
