A journey to the magical monkey jungle

A journey to the magical monkey jungle

I would take a magical monkey ,who is massive, to eat my vegetables for me.

I would take jungle clothes -with a leopard print- to blend in with the jungle.

I would take a baseball bat (that is really strong)to kill the hungry predators of the wild.

I would take bacon -tasty as a piping hot pizza- in case I get hungry.

I would take some water (that is flavoured blackcurrant) to drink it.

I would take a tiger ,who is very well trained, to ride around the bright green jungle.

6 things in a dragon hunters bag

6 things in a dragon hunter’s bag.

A claymore, made from a raging dragon’s bones ,

that can split the sky.

A compass, made with the magic of an ancient giant,

that shows your location.

The phoenix’s blessed charm, from the depths ,

Enhancing your senses.

Acid, made with a widow’s venom,

which makes flesh explode .

A crossbow from the long ago, enhanced with storm berries ,

that traps enemies.

A shield, forged in the sky lands by gods,

that nullifies magic.

dragon poem

Dragon poem

Its bright eyes are like a yellow sunset.

The dragon tail is scaly like a prickly strawberry.

Its wings are like a rough piece of leather.

Its tongue is wet like rain.

The dragon’s skin is striped like a white tiger.

The dragon’s pointy jaw is like the cartoon character, crimson chin.

Its teeth are sharp like a shark’s two sets of teeth.

His dragon like claws are as pointy as spindly goat horns

Its body is as cold as an arctic sea.

Its bones stick out like a bony lizard.

You are a squirrel

You are a vicious squirrel,

looking around the trees for the delicious nuts, as tasty as a piping pizza – hot fresh out of the oven.

You are a woodpecker,

pecking at the trees hoping that something interesting will pop out.

You are a hazelnut

spinning in the moonlight against the pitch black sky.

You are hibernation,

sleeping in the dark days of December, January and February.

You are a leaf,

twinkling in the sky like a beautiful diamond.

You are the wind,

howling in the night like a grey wolf.

You are a hidden bush,

ready for your ripe red berries to be picked.

You are a forest,

nature crawls  in between you hoping to find a home for their family.

You are grass,

swaying in the cold wind like a building  in a hurricane.

23.1.24

Outside the fluffy cold snow fell, whilst inside the fire blazed lighting up the room like a streetlight.

Out of doors a storm brewed while the year threes’ were hastily handing out there English books, ready to write.

In the tree the cheeky squirrel prepared his hazelnuts, on the grass a cat wanted him to fall.

Outside the city, a ferocious monster approached ready to unleash havoc, inside no one new.

On the cat a flea waited ready to suck its’ blood, of the cat no one new.

lonely card in the deck by Edward

You are the shining flame,

Guiding adventurers through the gloom.

You are a lonely card in the deck,

As lost as a boy in the woods.

You are as kind as a mothers cair,

And as cruel as a copper bull.

You are a fast snail,

A soft stone,

A slow cheetah.

You are a prehistoric fossil,

Wanting to be found.

You are the spinning weal

Of life and death.

You are the mysterious figure

In the mist.

You are a falling hero

Like a cherry blossom from the Sakura tree.

The new teacher

As soon as light faced Miss Passerini strode into class six the familiar room seemed to grow and get brighter as though there was magic in the air. She was thin with a pleasant stare like a happy child playing in the park. “Settle down children.” whispered the new teacher, but everyone was already calm

The robbery

It was the winter solstice in a faded town of Clun, The rain crashed down and smothered the already soaked streets, A few street lights had been lit, casting shadows where this mischievous dragon may be about.

James Davies ignored the growls of the dragon instead he was staring at the town Hall ahead. He tugged his coat hard closer to his chest and shivered and as another gust of wind swept down High Street.

He could spy a purple scaly tail coming out of the gloomy cave turning most people away from the cave and back to the town centre where the old houses of Clun stood. “Come inside growled the  dragon”,as he crawled out of his damp cave. “where are you headed” young man the Dragon roared staring at James.

”I’m going to an epic party” James replied, smiling the best he could, a moment later James was walking through the town centre trying to forget that he met a real life Dragon. As the street lights glittered and the people chatted if they had no care for the world.

Taking a shortcut down Main Street James lowered his head afraid to catch anyone’s eye.his dad always used to tell him “head down keep out of trouble” and so far that was what he had done.when he reached home he went up stairs and  went straight to bed.

Next morning he was shocked after reading the newspaper the news said that there had been a robbery at clun  spar, four boxes of cereal had gone two bottles of milk had gone missing and £168 had been taken out of the till. All the rubber had left was a purple scale on the floor…

The Cat

Fiercely, the cat growled,

It’s whiskers are as thin as a single wire on a broom,

Fur as soft as a fluffy cloud,

The tough liquorice tongue stretched out of it’s mini mouth,

It’s furry  fluffy fur is very warm,

It’s tiny sore paw stung like a nettle,
