Chapter 4

As they were packing up to leave the Mystic Isle, the creature that Richard bumped into which  looked like a bird, came up to the Oceanus and explained desperately that the Skinwalkers were coming.

“ Quickly you need to leave, the Skinwalkers will be here in about two minutes!”

Suddenly, there was a rustle in the beautiful blossom bushes and some petals fell off. A moment later an enemy cautiously appeared out of the bushes.

They were here:

It stood up extremely tall;  it had a slick spiky tail that swished from side to side; its chest shadowy like a stormy night; its wings devil-like; on its head were spikes like a mohawk and its teeth were snarling at the Oceanus. Richard Arthur and the crew were mortified at the appearance of this beast.

Suddenly, the creature moved into a stride towards them and a whole army of them backed it up, the bird that warned them earlier put a protective force-field around the Oceanus. The crew didn’t take a second chance and hopped into the 

Oceanus. Once the crew was in the Oceanus they could see the Gnarling- Gnashers weren’t interested in the bird at all they were interested in the Oceanus and kept on striding towards them. The crew all got in their positions and set off. But the force-field got destroyed because they went away from it, the Skinwalkers took

that chance to use their wings and fly onto the hull of the Oceanus…

One of the Skinwalkers knocked Arthur over and grazed his ankle. Arthur winced in pain as he landed on the deck. He scrambled back on his feet and ran into the control room where he could see the captain looking through the windshield to see Skinwalkers staring right into his soul.

“ Arthur, I think we might have got ourselves in a battle with these mysterious creatures called the Skinwalkers.”

“ I think we have too.” replied Arthur

As Arthur put his hands into his pockets he felt something rough and hard, he wondered what it was. He pulled it out and observed that it was the necklace of Anuba! 

He ran out of the control deck to find Richard batting a Skinwalker from his leg. He could see Richard was hurt.

“ Richard you’re hurt.” said Arthur

“I’ll be fine, don’t worry.” Arthur saw through the see-through roof that the Skinwalkers were trying to break through it. Arthur sprinted to the door and locked it. He could feel the necklace of Anuba pulsing in his hand, he looked down at it and saw how it glistened in the sunlight. Arthur had to do something. He saw that the sky-ship roof had collapsed and that glass was shattered but the worst thing about it is that the creatures had gotten through. As some of the creatures were moving towards the pair, one of them was going to the door to let  all of the Skinwalkers in. Richard had a look of horror on his face and looked extremely pale, the necklace was pulsing like crazy like an angered bull. Its snarl lit up  the room as a beam of bright light started to demolish  the creatures. Arthur walked to the door to see if the coast was clear and Richard limped over. 

“ We won! We won the battle!” shouted Richard

Captain Slovak cheered in applause.

As they gathered the crew they got the doctor to help the injured people but Captain Slovak and Arthur realised they had another

big job to accomplish, to fix the skyship to venture with their adventures.

Chapter 3

As the sun rose in the morning sky, Captain Slovak was commanding orders to the famous crew, “ You there, go get some firewood we don’t want to freeze to death do we, and you go scavenge for berries so we can have some breakfast.”. Meanwhile Arthur  had just woken up from his sleep. He drowsily pulled down the door handle and opened it. Arthur walked out of the door and realised that he had not seen Richard since the previous night. As Arthur stepped out of the Oceanus he saw that everybody had been sent to do their morning jobs.

When Richard was on his task there were tracks that had been worn down by deer and badgers. He trudged through but a monster growled at him. The monster popped out and warned Richard “ The Skinwalkers are coming for you, you need to leave.”

Arthur was walking past the wreckage when he heard Richard shouting “ Arthur come on come on  we need to get moving”

“ Why, I don’t even know where you are?” Arthur said

“Go to your right,” Richard said. Eventually Arthur bumped into Richard. 

“Richard, what’s going on?” asked Arthur 

“ No time to come on, we need to get back to the Oceanus!” Richard panted. As they sprinted through the bushes and the brambles to get to the sky-ship.

As they were nearly there they could see the bald eagles soaring through the navy blue sky and the trees swaying with the wind.

“ Guys we need to get to the skyship!” the pair said. Once everybody was in the sky ship  Richard explained

“ Everybody Skinwalkers are coming for us” said Richard

The captain shouted “ Right’e’o prepare for take off”

Prologue

You’ve probably had multiple fantastic adventures on wonderful skyships but not like this one. In summer, you would have seen the sunlight beaming at you in front of the arched windows. The calm breeze brushing past peoples faces. The clear blue sky was very happy whilst the sea was waving. When you flew there would have been hay bales on plain lands down below, cruise ships sailing to sea and there are doves that squawk their hellos. When you flew there would have been a beautiful sense of freedom. You probably got taken to the Grand Canyon and landed to have lunch. Travelling in a skyship is much quicker.

But travelling on an adventure to unexplored lands is hard. You should try the famous Oceanus. It will be able to carry you throughout the journey. The thunder rumbles while you try to sleep. You should try being there when the monsters arrive, which try to rip you apart. You should try being there when a rainbow pops out of the cloudy skies. Few people would want to go on this extremely exciting adventure like this. Even experienced flyers would wish to go on this treacherous but magical adventure. No-one knows what species could be living there. Rumours have it that there are giga-snakes which are as tall as the world’s tallest man, sky-rats that latch onto your arms and the blob. Few would wish to even see these giga-snakes and sky-rats or the blob, and people say that these rumours are for a good reason. 

Chapter One

The crowds waved and cheered their goodbyes as the skyship Oceanus shuddered and hovered above the ground. Captain Slovak smiled to himself as he started the engines of the esteemed Oceanus. As they ascended in the sky the crowd was as visible as a speck of dust as they soared through Lontown. Richard and Arthur surveyed what was below them: farmlands that had

been platted down by farm vehicles; cars racing past on the motorway; and  the sea’s waves hitting the pier of the beach. The Oceanus was sailing throughout the city. The river of Alantia could be seen from miles away. Richard and Arthur could hear the sweet birds tweeting, they could hear the waves of the Ocean lapping the cliffside and  the wind happily brushing past the Oceanus.

Shouting to distant crowds, the children turned to walk back to their seats. Richard and Arthur grinned at each other but Richard felt like he had butterflies in his stomach. Will he be safe on this adventure?

Later, when Oceanus was sailing through the Atlantic Ocean, they could see many things all around them. Arthur and Richard saw the largest sea animal, the blue whale which was doing flips in the water, fishing boats that were dots from the Oceanus, dolphins that were flipping out of the water and gannets were descending, getting ready to dive down in the Ocean to get its meal. Richard sighed, “ do you think we will ever find Ermitage Wrigglesworth  again?” as he was scrunching up his hair.

Arthur was staring out at the ocean “ I wonder if anything mortifying will happen to us like last time. Last time we had to get through orcs and trolls and skyrats, and that  definitely wasn’t fun.”

Later that evening, the breeze was as cold as dry ice, hail was coming off the Oceanus and  blowing in their faces, the storm was as loud as a stampede,  the lightning lit up the sky and you could hear the breeze brushing past the balloon. The moon was placed in the middle of the sky. Richard could barely observe the monuments on a faint little island. The captain was starting to get tired…

Dear Captain Culpepper,

I am writing to you today at this moment because I want to ask you for a place on the Aurora. I have desired to have the job on the sky-ship. I have you have space for a young proficient and polite boy like myself. I will merrily join to be by your side.Here are the skills I have.

First, I am qualified to helping people if they are wounded. I have got the M.P.O.Y ( Medical Person Of The Year). This means that if you or get injured I can help.

Secondly, I am a very good engineer. I held an award E.E ( Expert Engineer). This means I can easily fix the sky-ship.

Have you ever desired of going on a trek through unexplored lands? If so, read on to receive the following advice. It is vital to know what treacherous obstacles are lying ahead.

As you walk into the muggy moor, avoid talking to the magical wizard. If you eat the strangers muck he gives you, he can hypnotise you. Whilst you enter the rocky waterfall, boulders will fall down on you whilst you try to flee through the exit. So do not enter through the shortcut why but you can if you really like peril. If you enter the mysterious forest, if you cook baked beans it will give you energy. But if you eat it next to the Lonely Cavern

an ogre will come and try to annihilate you because it thinks you stole its life supply. So do not eat it near the lonely cavern.

When you encounter a lone cottage and a statue holding a rusted sword, walk East. There will be dangers ahead: gargoyles, which will try to lock on to your arms; Shadow nights, which will haunt you by walking in your shadows and  ************, which can latch you on the ground and will suck blood out of you.

Always bring an invisibility cloak, otherwise you will soon encounter an orc that is lurking in the darkness. But if you remember a sword and a bow (

with a full quiver of arrows) you can try to defeat him.

If you proceed on your journey you will see another lone cottage with a bloodhound statue. I recommend you do not go to it because there is a minotaur. You will not be able to defeat him with your animal-annihilater to defeat it.

If you are confident to go on this journey, be ready  to bring all of the equipment you think you’ll need and if you do all of the following advice you will be safe and sound. Good luck explorer and have a nice adventure.

Venture through the waving waterfall,

Catch the glistening tear drop,

  Find  the scale of beasts within.

Travel to the mythical glade,

Find the old oak tree,

And beckon its glee,

Then the tree will open,

And you will be greeted with a map,

Then it will lead you to your destination.

On the searing beach,

The sun beams down you,

Capture the crab of enlightenment,

And bury it in the sand.

In the prey mountain,

Orcs seek for sign of prey,

The orcs prey have been slayed,

There is one friendly orc in a weathered house,

Speak to him,he will tell you how to get out concealed.

Now you have reached your destination,

You need to search your surroundings,

There lies the explorer in a rusty cage pleading for help. 

On The Island of Misery,

I observed the trees droop at the sight of rain,

The wind howled,

Mountains frown a look of depression.

On Merry Island,

Sugary sweets were falling from the sky,

The happy sun beamed whilst clouds were laying candy floss.

On Hazelnut Island,

The hazel trees was as big as Statue Of Liberty,

The Hazelnuts tasted like chocolate.

On The Mysterious Island,

The ground was extremely soft,

Ankle-Breaker.

On Hawk Island, 

The trees were dancing whilst Hawks squawked,

The Hawks had a gaze of determination,

And the Hawks cried to keep together.

Dear Sergeant Price,

                                 I am writing to persuade you to resign as a superhero.You mean to help the villagers but you are actually destroying their neighbourhood.

My first reason is that when you fly about in your jetpack, children get terrified because of the loud noise and the hot air. Some children have even taken inspiration of how your jetpack makes you fly so they tie stuff around their neck and try to fly.This even causes serious injuries so STOP NOW!

I would like to argue that you barely save any people wherever you go. Superheroes save more than 10 times as many people as you do. Do you really think you’re a good superhero? Additionally, I think you should resign since the majority of people hate you.

Additionally, I am concerned that you are polluting towns and wildlife with your smoke. To build on this concern your jetpack leaves dents in the ground and as I

said earlier it also scares children. So you are basically in the same wrong as the criminals.

Although some people think having laser guns and cyber kinetic blades are cool, some people think it’s illegal, terrifying and dangerous. This is another reason I think you should give up being a superhero. Do you think people should be afraid of a person who is supposed to help the world.

Why not enjoy the rest of your life being a normal happy life like a normal villager.
