Dear Diary,

Today was the most heartbreaking day, it was the day that all the darkness had sunk into my soul. I don’t really like talking about it but I’ll tell you what happened today……

It was an early morning Saturday, and I was just chilling in my room watching youtube when I heard a loud bang and scream in the room next door, it was my parents bedroom, I knew that something bad was going on. Something really bad. The knot in my stomach pulled tighter. And tighter. 

I had to know what was going on but I didn’t want to get injured.

Finally the shouting had ended but that was only the start of it, I saw my mum dash out of their room, mascara running down her face and bruises on her arm. I tried to stop her. What had happened? What was going on? Could it be because of me? Did I do anything wrong?

She pushed me out of the way and I asked her “What was going on?” She ignored me so I did the same and tried to******* up!

The next day I ran away to where I belong, the place I love to be, the sea! But what was that in the water?…………

Results of life…..

As a result of doctors-people get better everyday.

As a result of treats-children smile in delight.

As a result of music-people’s hands are on their ears as they watch 

every movement in amazement.

As a result of family-love spreads in the air.

As a result of friendship-someone will always be by your side.

As a result of dreams-imagination creates and grows.

As a result of rainbows-there will always be a pot of gold at the end.

As a result of secrets-they should never be told.

As a result of winter-the taste of hot chocolate sends a rush of warmth down your spine.

As a result of summer-hair glows as shimmery as the ocean

It could be a book as the pages flick by throwing pictures and adventures in your head.

It could be the sunlight as it shone down on the glimmering sea as it crashed against the jagged rocks.

It could be the scent of fresh cornish pasties, making my nose explode with different smells.

It could be the thought of worries as they echoed in my mind, racing around my head, like guns shooting, as I try to imagine their 

fireworks celebrating me.

It could be the sound of waves crashing as the foam surfed across the deep blue water into the shore.

It could be the moon glistening in the night sky as shimmering stars surrounding it, telling you secrets.

It could be the snowy white mountains as they adventured down into the deep turquoise sea as the coral waves, making fish dance along the strong currents as the spotlight of the sun reflects down on them….

On Monday, I stared at the horizon as the sunrise rose from the ruby red morning sky, glistening like the sparkling ocean while seagulls screeched.

On Tuesday, I glared at the gold, blinding sun as it shone in the clear blue sky.

On Wednesday, I adventured through a crystal cave that echoed with promises never to be told, as ombre leaves rustled  messages as they fell.

On Thursday, rainbows shone in the crisp cold snow as they hid behind the clear, cream clouds.

On Friday, the grey clouds haunted me, as lightning boomed down at me from the navy blue sky like a wave of worry.

On Saturday, I gazed at the golden moon as tiny stars surrounded it, shimmering down on me wishing me sweet dreams.

On Sunday, I found a glittering seashell that whispered secrets as the ocean crashed, and the sun set ready for me to start dreaming…
