Luna quickly ran to Mark, “Calm down. We will get out here in no time.” Mark ran to the other corner sadly crying to sleep.
Luna worried said, “Are you ok?”
Mark said, “COME LOOK AT THIS!” They all ran as quickly as a cheetah. They gasp.
They quickly climbed out but there was another door and it unfortunately was locked so she kicked and banged as hard as she could but nothing happened but just made a little dent .
They both tried to look for any escape. Lucy looked for any loose floorboards but not one could be found. Mark searched for any bricks that would unlock a secret door but no hope.
A short time later, Lucy was bothering Mark, “Instead of sitting there, get up and help!” However, Mark just sat there in disappointment. But then Lucy remembered that there was a trap door. She pulled out her hair grip from her hair, tried it in the lock but it failed terribly.
Angrily, Mark shouted, “You might as well give up, there is no point!”
Crossly, Lucy screamed back, “You might not even be here! You are not even trying.”
Luke sadly muttered, “I’m sorry, I’m just sick of your evil aunty.”
In a mood, Lucy yelled, “Why don’t you get up then?”
Just as Lucy was going to give up, she listened to a gentle knock on the window coming from outside. Lucy quickly stood up and gazed out of the window and saw Daisy.
“Come on, don’t just stand there, give me some wind ups!” purred Daisy. Lucy reached her hand out the window and gently twisted the key in the mechanimals’s back and gave her some wind ups.
When Lucy was petting Daisy, she opened her mouth and spat out the shiny key as she looked as if she was ready to win an Olympic race.
Lucy called to Mark, “Come on, I got the key from Daisy!” Mark got up as fast as he could.
Daisy stepped out to see if anyone was looking. Lucy quietly opened the door. As she peeked out, Daisy meowed, “Come on, we have to go.” Lucy looked around to see if she was there but it was as quiet as a mouse and no one was there. Lucy, Mark and Daisy all quietly sneaked out towards the graveyard. Daisy ran as quickly as lightning towards safety.
