A dragon’s appearance

 

From its misty lair the, dragon breaks free. Ebony eyes stare deep in your soul like demons.

 

Knife sharp spikes run down its spine, each and everyone of them aligned.

 

A whip like tail, slashing all surroundings cuts right deep into skin.

 

Thick jawline stretches out wide, red razor sharp teeth are ready to crunch and munch.

 

Webbed wings fully extended, soaring around the sky.

 

Curved claws yellow, ready to grab and slice.

 

Wailing wind rushes and rain falls as if it was a silent scream.

Good and bad

Barry stared at the disgusting burger. Outside the shattered window, a wind swept across the dirty town. Cars purred by and on the promenade, old papers tumbled along, driven by the wind. The sea rolled up the muddy beach, crashing against the dangerous rocks that fringed the uncolorful shoreline.

Suspense

As me and Rachel walked down the dark , gloomy path beside the cliff edge .The water sounded like lots of things:a hurricane destroying a town ;and an ear splitting boom across the sky .Water was aggressively splashing at us whilst we strolled along the rocky road . That was when a huge wave slapped on the cliffside and splashed us in the face we were drenched from head to toe.”We should go .” exclaimed Rachel “ Definitely .” I said

The way to the house

The bus stopped down the street when the storm blew. Although he waited for them to arrive, nobody came. The old man staggered while he made his way to the house. When he was there, he sat down at the table.

 

The Mysterious Beast

Sally realised guards were chasing her. She got into a rush so she started to pick up a pace. Unfortunately rain started to hammer down on the ground, she got drenched. “I think I picked the wrong day to go around town.” Sally thought to herself, “maybe is should find a way to get home.” Just as Sally thought all hope was lost she suddenly glimpsed something. It was old, there was shattered glass everywhere, it wasn’t much but she was great full to find a shelter so she hid in there.” Well I might as well stay here tonight” she thought out loud hoping someone had heard her. Suddenly lightning bolted, because of that Sally hid under a table.

There were large, fresh cobwebs from a spider along with huge dark cracks all around the walls and there were many old dusty books scattered around the broken floorboards.

Until she looked back she realised that the doors had all locked. She was trapped!

She started thinking ‘how do I get out?’ when the noisiest roar she had ever heard hit her ear. A slash of lightning struck, Sally got frightened and hugged herself as tight as she could. At that very moment, a light shone and Sally saw a glimpse of large teeth coming her way. Sally shuddered as a long gush of wind hit her.” W -w-w what are you?” she stuttered.

 “That I must not tell.” Replied the mysterious creature.

Sally then asked “Can I trust you?” the creature didn’t give an answer, but shook her fur. It was some sort of snake beast Sally realised when the beast turned the light on.

Sally had never seen It before.

Setences

The snow fell and Tom was waiting in his flat. The phone rang, so he picked it up. While listening, he crossed the room. He opened the door, picked up the suitcase and then went outside.

 

Since  I  played my music very loudly, there was an odd sound.

After I ate my breakfast, I played my trombone.

In case there was a bad smell, I bought a gas mask.

When I fed the scary shark, it was scary.

Mischievous Fox – Chapter 1

Tyger Chapter 1

It was a freezing cold afternoon in winter and everything was covered in frost. Snow was everywhere and everyone was wearing hats,gloves,coats and scarves with fuzzy boots.

Sally Contego was freezing but tried to act like the clouds were the sun. The sun wasn’t actually shining and there was fog everywhere so Sally stared at what she thought was a checkpoint.

She saw a guard with a long beard checking for peoples passes and things that are dangerous.

“Who’s next?”shouted the guardas Sally approached him.She handed him her pass. “Where are you going?”he snapped.

“I’m going to the bakery!”Sally exclaimed, hoping the guard would let her through the enormous gates.

“Fine, you can leave.”The sighed expressionless.

After 5 minutes Sally found herself walking through the upper town.The streets were much cleaner and she found it unfair she didn’t get this luxury at all.

She took a shortcut and approached the streets quicker and easier.

She swung her arms and searched for the address she was meant to go to. She had finally found it, she spotted the address she was searching for. 

Phrases and clauses

THE SLY FOX

FOX

I’m vicious and sly, sneaky and quick

in the blink of an eye I escape.

I am amber eyes staring deep into your soul,

no one can beat me in a staring contest.

I’m very competitive and no one defeats me and I will be surprised

If you beat me.

I can kill with my claws,

and then I’ll give myself an applause.

I hide in shadows and stalk you,

when the time comes by,

I launch at you.

Outside Inside

Outside, the sports hall was covered in ice and snow, the pupils were having fun. Inside, the school gym where it was nice and warm, the children were practicing dancing.

Alongside of the bed, the elf was standing behind the teddy bear fearing the humans thinking they can hurt him.

Outside, the farm was sunny, the parents were working hard to make food. Inside, the children wanted to eat and play, they were waiting for their` food.

Above the school, the dark clouds blew mysteriously. Under, the children huddled behind their desks.

Under the bridge, the water flowed gently. Above the bridge birds flew over the mountains.
