Chapter three

Chapter three

Paragraph one

Ivy scanned the walls hoping to find something. She tried looking underneath the cellar door maybe somebody was there and saw what happened. Nothing. Lily was sat in the darkest corner of the cellar scrunched up like a paper ball that had been tossed into the bin.

Paragraph two

“Lily are you just going to sit there not helping whatsoever you know!”

“What is the point, you can see we are surrounded by bricks.” Mumbled Lily

“If you don’t get up to help and I find a way out. ON MY OWN. You can ever so sure you’ll be left here to rot!” Argued back Ivy

Lily knew Ivy wouldn’t do that but Lily wasn’t taking any chances. Lily stumbled to her feet in a flash.

Paragraph three

Ivy saw a suspicious carpet and decided to tug it out the way. They both stared flabbergasted. There was a secret passage way! They followed it until it came to a halt, somebody most likely Scarlett had blocked it off using cement there was no way they could break through cement. They walked back the trail they had just followed disappointingly. They thought about how can somebody be so cruel on their way back. When they got back to the depressing cellar they both slumped down and put their hand on their chin mushing their faces.

Paragraph four

Suddenly, hooting noises could be heard from outside of the door.

“Chester is that you?” cried out Ivy

“Yes it’s me! Are you locked in there?” replied Chester

“Yes we are now go grab the key for the door it should be in the kitchen to your left.” “Use it for us to escape and quickly they might come back! Yelled Ivy.

Then the door clicked a few times and creaked open they were free!

 Paragraph five

Lily and Ivy sprinted out the manor into the dark while Chester fly behind them. They ran until they couldn’t see the manor no more. Eventually, they decided to pause to catch some air. They sat down sweating like they had just ran a marathon that’s what it felt like anyways. Chester sat on a branch while Lily and Ivy discussed what to do. After some time had passed they had come up with a solution to stay where they were for the night since the sun had started falling while the moon bloomed. The ink sky increased throughout the cold, eerie night.

Paragraph six

Waking up from her slumber, Ivy began to think about how much she missed her mother. A couple tears rolled down her cheek when she remembered how warm her mother was and how kind and loving she was. A few hours later, Ivy’s eyes were sore from rubbing them so much. She had realised Chester had no ticks remaining he lost them through the night and was stood like a statue on the branch above. Once she had got Chester down. Ivy wound him up. While winding him up, Lily woke up there were bags underneath her eyes she must’ve not slept well that night.

Chapter Two

Chapter Two

Charcoalbrick Manor sat quickly and disturbingly. Anxiously, Lily didn’t think it was an amazing idea to come to this back bone shivering Manor. But there they were, Ivy was desperate for the next note she needed to find it, and now!  Lily’s tummy was churning like a popcorn machine. The Manor was a dark grey colour and broken roof with dead plants in front of the Manor that was full of colour until her Mother went missing, sadly.

Climbing through a broken window, the Manor whispered erringly shadows crawling to fill any light that peeks through the cracks for the windows and doors. The carpet full with moulded parts from the rain dripping through the broken skylight. Sadly, Ivy’s favourite vase was smashed pieces scattered all around the wooden floor that was a missing a lot of plank. Ivy remembered where every room and every ornament was but, the one place she needed the most had not been spotted at that moment of time. Suddenly, Lily tugged Ivy over to a door they hadn’t checked or seen yet. IT was Ivy’s Mother’s workshop!

“There it is” Ivy said, happily.

Lily replied worryingly, “grab the note and let’s get out of here, I can’t handle anymore!”

Ivy picked up the note from her Mother’s drawer and started walking to the door.

“Where do you think you’re going?” questioned a shadowy figure. Ivy and Lily stopped terrified and speechless.

The shadowy figure stepped into the light revealing who it was. Her Mother’s partner she ordered one of her guards to grab the note and so they did. Then Scarlett Ivy’s Mother’s partner smirked, a cheeky nasty smile I was.

Ivy and Lily shouted, “Give that back!”

“I don’t think I will,” laughed Scarlett “I’ve been looking for this note for a long time and you’ve finally led me to it!”

Without a warning, two other shadowy figures stepped out and started heading towards Ivy and Lily. Lily grabbed Ivy and bolted for the door, then they ran into some sort of storage closet and closed the door. Click…  Scarlett had just locked them in. How could anybody find them here?

Chapter 2 bows and arrows

Outside when the sun had barely arisen and Ithaca was so quiet you could here a pin drop, rocks were piers in the sky; the coast was so pitting on to the sand and pebbles. However calm and Fermin was the last way to describe the feasting hall, as Odysseus was about to find out.As he enter Odysseus gazed around what was his but what he still felt a quest in, slowly taking every thing in bit by bit.He saw: suitors drinking wine and eating meat, his weapons hanging of the wall untouched for  nineteen years and Penelope head in her hands sobbing with grief for her long lost husband. This triggered an uncontrollable surge of anger.
Suddenly, he was over powered by the sent of the feast tacking place in front of him-wine dripping from the walls, tables and chairs like blood after a battle were many lives were lost. Then something smashed and the whole hall fell silent, no more drunken sleepy laughter but all he could hear were the weeps and sobs of his pitiful wife, Penelope. But why was she crying when her husband was home  and alive, did she not know?                                                                                                                                   When she saw Odysseus she was becoming him to come over to his bedchamber. As soon as he arrived she said”You are an old man you must tell me what my dream means”, soon I will have to marry one of the suitors but I don’t know who. “It will come to you” the old man said and then left. Penelope decided that who ever could shoot an arrow through the twelve ceremonial axes handles like Odysseus used to would be the one she would marry. When the day came for the test all of the suitors tried and failed. But when the old man tried he shot the arrow through all twelve axes. Suddenly he worried that the suitors would find out he was really Odysseus in descize. As soon as the suitors started firing fury at the old man then Odysseus had no choice but to shoot the strongest suitor. When the battle was done he told his son (Telemachus) his mysterious plan. But want was this plan?

prologue

Prologue

Chester glanced out if the rusting window of the Dragonfly’s airship, as the disturbing airship loomed closer. She spotted the silver glider shooting through the air like a bullet slicing through the foggy, jet black clouds blocking any sight of anything else. Alarmingly, Chester recognised the deafening noises of a missile being shot, soring the sky like an ominous earthquake. Ear damaging cracks ripped through the Dragonfly’s porcelain like exterior as easily as peeling a banana. Chester turned to his master, hiding in his feathery tawny wing, “Hooting owls, Paul! Save yourself! I’m a simple mechanimal, you’re a human more important then me! You must jump!”

The return

The once strong and powerful Odysseus, had finally returned from Troy but had not revived the welcome he had expected, while he had been away, back at his kingdom of rocky Ithaca there  had been nearly nothing but trouble and carnage   between the suitors and his wife Penelope.
After his visit from Athene he was now going on  as an old man until he had the information he needed to save his son who the suitors planed to murder on his return from Sparta where he went in search of news about his father. After many nights and days Odysseus re-entered his feasting hall for the first time in nineteen years ;as an old bigger asking for food. All he received was the potent smell off wine and the deafening cry’s and laughter of the suitors. But what is next for the old bigger Odysseus?

Interestingly, there have been sightings of the creature in deserts. As a result, of Multi-Cat Bugs being spotted near or in Sahara deserts less are existing because they cannot adapt to the sudden change of climate it has been moved into.

Burning Ash Tree

The Burning Ash Tree

The Burning Ash Tree waved his blistering,

Sizzling white dead arms

around the old, abandoned road

Like a mysterious bandit

from the wild west.

The Burning Ash tree

began to cook up a wicked thought

as if he was cooking up

a rotten meal for a rotten person

he reached his white, deadly, cold arms

for a tree not knowing what

was going to happen. Suddenly,

the tree collapsed

and thousands of snaps, cracks

and then a huge bang!

All the other trees started crying like

Trying to fill a bucket worth of tears.

The Burning Ash Tree

then felt very guilty

for the poor innocent trees

once it started spreading.

As soon as all

the trees had been replanted newer then ever

he confessed

like he had done a horrible, evil crime.

Flame Freesia

The Flame freesia lights

Up the ground in

Total darkness it dances

Like an acrobat doing a show.

The ivy green stem spiked thorns like

Mini little daggers

Standing straighter then a line.

The petals are like a fire truck red colour

In the base and lined

with a yellow honeycomb

yellow colour glazing in the hot boiling

sun during mid-day.

The Flame Freesia leaped over

Long, slender blades

of grass like a circus act.

What is life?

What is memorable?

Giant panda cubs plodding into the dark shadows of their home forest, with their mother close behind,

What is forgettable?

A vast field without a single flower of  creature in sight, only once green grass and muddy puddles,

What is real?

The fear of being alone in a dark forgotten space, full of bad thoughts and memories,

What is fake?

The sight of an enormous dragon terrorising a small village hidden by the hills, covered by smoke and flames,

What is cute?

Three heartwarming red pandas peeking their adorable little faces out of a damp log contently eating bamboo,

What is creepy?

The thought of hideous  spider webs blocking a dark gloomy and ancient opening, once adorned with roses,

What is calm?

The peace of a mesmerising sunset on the horizon in the distance across the ocean,

What is terror?

A battle field covered with soldiers bravely fighting, armed with guns.
