Dear Ma,
When I got on the train I was luckily in a room with one other person called Nolan. I gave him half of my toffees and chocolates because you always say to share. We started to babble a lot and it was lots of fun.
When we finally arrived in Weirwold, it was very packed: me and Nolan just managed to get through the crowded train station to the billeting officer. She took us to the town hall to be picked. A lovely family called the Meracos. They have a dog called Bob. He is a pug and drools everywhere.
They have the biggest house. We went shopping to get some winter boots and clothes for me, it was great. Later on we arrived at my house. I saw a white fluffy animal in the yard.
“That’s a sheep,” the man said.
“A what?” I replied.
I walked into the house to find a luxurious hallway. The eldest son showed me my room. It was huge and I had a bed to myself. It was amazing but I still miss you. I sat on the bed after a long day and instantly fell asleep on the bed.
The first thing the next day was a rush. It was my first day at school. Even though I’m 7, I was put in the class of high schoolers for everything; I think it is because of your brain traits. Nolan is in the same class as me and guess what? He sits next to me in class. Miss loves me and Nolan because we are not a pain in the back side.
Unfortunately I’m only allowed to use one page so I’ll have to sum it all up. I’m having a great time but nothing is the same without you.
Hope Dad is fine.
Lots of love and best wishes
Nathan.
