Dear Mum

Dear Mum,

Thanks for the snacks, I ate them on the way here. After what seemed like hours and hours of waiting we arrived in Cornwall. It’s quite cool here. The weather wasn’t great yesterday, but it looks quite sunny today. It’s nothing like Birmingham; the streets are clean and there are houses all crammed together.

When we got there people chose what children they wanted. I got chosen first by this kind lady called Kim.

I would like to tell you about where I live. I live in a small house on ‘Sunset Valley’. It’s a nice road with nice people. In the garden she has chickens, cows and a pig. She also owns 2 dogs. They are so cute they are huskies. There are so many trees and yesterday I went to the beach!

Every morning, I go outside to feed the chickens some sweet corn and collect their eggs ( sometimes I would get a boiled egg for breakfast) and then I would go and feed the pig some scraps of potato peelings, after that I would go and check on the cows. Also before bed i had to put the chickens away, Kim said if i dont put them away they would be with the foxes.

I have a room under the stairs. There is a mattress and some shelves that I keep a picture of you and my favourite toy on. I also made a friend in school. Her name is Zara. She is so kind to me she has long black hair and wears glasses! One day I went to her house and she had a bedroom for herself! I hope you are ok and that i can see you soon! Please write back so I can see how you are doing.

Lots of love,

Trinity!
