Going to Polus

Going to Polus

I would take a lukewarm cup of tea(whch will never run out)

to keep me wonderesly warm on Polus.

I would take a frosty snowman

,which is alive and can’t melt,

to keep me company if i get lost.

I would take some soup(which never goes cold)to keep me full at all times.

I would take a neon laser gun-that doesn’t need ammo-

to disintegrate any enemies

no matter how fearsome.

I would take a snow-proof set of clothes, which is also fire-proof,to protect me from the cold winds of Polus.

I would take a broom-stick

(that can also do your chores)  fly across the sky at super-sonic speeds.

6 Things found in a Dwarf’s Knapsack

A dog, with a mouth which could devour any creature in sight with a snap, for protection against the frightening creature in the dark nights.

An axe, with a gold encrusted shaft, which puts fear into the eyes of anybody who dares challenge me on this dark cold island.

A pair of binoculars, in a cracked old leather case, that could find the very smallest of creatures from many miles away,

A flashlight, to guide me through the pitch-black crystal cave, ideal to use on the frightening nights.

An alligator, with scales as solid as stone, to shield me from my greatest enemies.

A pair of moss infected shoes, to drag me though the filthy swamps, to cover my feet on a cold day.

My dragon

It’s fiery red eyes,

glaring across the horizon

and striking fear into every soul.

The dragon’s crismon scales,

jingle and jangle in the wind.

It’s bottomless mouth,

full of razor sharp teeth

like a jungle full of knives.

The dragon’s crooked teeth

can cruch you in an instant.

It’s pink tongue

will twirl around you and

lead you to your doom.

Their spiked nose,

Breath fire like the world’s

worst flame-thrower.

His pointy spines,

as tall as towers and as straight

as a ruler.

Their yellow, leathery wings,

tear through the night sky as silent as the wind.

Her metre-long talons,

will shred you to pieces in

Seconds like a chainsaw.

It’s glistening tail,

as long as a bus and can knock

over a castle wall in one blow.

You are a lost object.

You are a lost, smelly sock,

forever searching for its brother like a hunter tracking its precious prey.

You are a creepy china doll,

never blinking, never moving like the world has stopped.

You are a lost holiday photo,

a forgotten memory thatll never be thought of again.

You are a still spring,

with rust covering it like a coat of 0range crust as if it wants to enter the worlds worst fashion show.

You are a piece of black, musty mould,

spewing spores and covering every surface like a vicious virus.

You are the smell of old, forgotten toys

that may be 100s of years old but no one has ever found this mouldy teddy bear.

You are leaky fountain pen,

bleeding across the unknown area of the dump, home to the smelliest things in the world.

You are the latest prototype of a rusty blue bike,

that never got sold and has been forgotten through the ages.

Adverbials

Right at the dawning, the car accelerated at the green light in the roadworks, drove round the corner cautiously and came to a halt because of the traffic.

Outside inside

Outside, the snow fell across the deserted mountains. Inside, the people were partying and having fun.

Outside, the rain fell across the silent city. Inside, the cold snow piled up in the front porch.

Outside, the cave, the people paced down the mountain. Inside, the people huddled up to stay warm.

the prowling poem

Ears twitching, the cats onyx eyes surveyed the bushes.

it prowled through the damp undergrowth, tail silently whipping.

they glanced trough the woodland foliage, to see but a meager mouse, as small as a speck of dust.

food, it was, but a small meal it would be.

as quick as a flash, the mouse scampered away, the cat leaping behind it.

they dashed through the trees, but as fast as the little mouse was, it was no match for the cat, and with a great “Hiss!” it pounced over the poor creature. A catch.

Mr Hardy

As soon as happy faced Mr Hardy skipped into class seven, the familiar room immediately appeared to turn colourful and happy. He was confident with a happy grin rather like a big rainbow.“Settle down children,” the new happy teacher said with a grin,“ I’m not used to seeing everyone bored rather happy.”

my friend Graham (who is a whale)

Ok, I know you are wondering why I’m here. I know you’re wondering, “is anyone looking for him?” But they won’t find me. Because I’m in a whale. My friend, to be exact. His name is Graham. A kind whale, who can be catastrophically clumsy at times. Like this time, for example; we were just… playing. Having a whale of a time, you could say. But he…opened his mouth at the wrong time. that’s all. And now, I’m stuck in a whale. where am I? I don’t know. But, I’m gonna have to get used to fish.
