chapter 4

Moments later, the little horses had been dragged into the cougar base which looked like a really really big cave, where they were tied up. On guard stood Scarface and Bloodshed, led by a Cougar named Diabolos the top general. As time passed, they became restless and the Cougars began to doze. As soon as their grumbling snores filled the room. They scuttled away from the weasels that tied them up, gossiping and giggling.” By my great aunt’s least breath”, muttered Arax tugging the spider’s web that bound him. “If I can reach the elemental blade then we can at least free ourselves.”After a while, he gave up struggling. While they lay in the dark, each thinking their own thoughts. Arax heard a noise. Mustang gave a muffled squeak as the back wall crumbled and a rabbit’s snout appeared.

“Shh now”, warned the rabbit.”We don’t want to disturb the Cougar party, do we?” With a chew of its teeth, the ropes fell apart and the little horses followed the rabbit, who was called May, into the tunnel that had appeared. There were other rabbits, badgers, and even moles blinking at the light that came from the cougars’ hideout. “We must get to the surface before the flood,” whispered May.”We’ve planned a little surprise for our friends Bloodshed, Diablos, and Scarface. Everyone has been digging and tunneling. We’ve Diverted the waterfall and are going to channel it down into the cavern”. 

Eventually, they broke out into the sunlight and found themselves on the other side of the Snowfall mountains. They stood for a moment, breathing in the fresh air and blinking as their eyes adjusted. In the distance, they could now see the mighty caves of fire. Arax lifted Mustang and said, “Look, that is our new home”.

In the distance, they could now see the mighty caves of fire. When Mustang saw the caves of fire he was happy that the caves of fire were the last place they had to get to. Shadow felt the same way that mustang felt and Arax was happy that they were going to be safe from the cougars and mountain lions.

Out of nowhere, One badger named flora left because she had to go back to her family because her mum was ill. After she dug a hole in the ground, Mustang cried because she helped them a lot but then Arax reminded Mustang about the mission.

At that moment, and totally without warning, the mighty caves began to grumble rather alarmingly; flames and fiery rocks spouted into the air as if the cave was exploding and spitting out the fire that had always sat inside of its angry belly. All this had happened at the same time that the waterfall had finally been directed into a cave on the hillside. Water poured into the hill, gushing downwards to where the cougars waited unsuspectingly.

Once everyone was far back, a moment later, as the diverted water washed into the hillside, a river of fiery molten rock joined it. The hillside hissed; steam poured from hidden caves, vents in the rock belched and open gulleys hissed like kettles steaming. They saw that the cougars’ clothes were soaked and steaming and they scurried north away from the horses and the caves of fire.

Arax stared into the distance because he saw something flying towards them from the caves of safety. He gasped as it flew closer because he had always longed for a dragon. And indeed, that is what it was – a fire dragon.

A Moment later, the 3 little horses waved goodbye to their rescuers and flew onwards to the cave of fire. Mustang clung onto Shadow, in turn, she clung onto Arax and he held fast to the Dragon’s fur as they flew on to their new home.

chapter 3

With a flourish, what had appeared to be a  shadow, stood tall. Bloodshed one of the Cougar generals. On his body was armor, armor so shiny that it blinded the little horses for 2 minutes before they were able to look at him but not be blinded by his armor. In his mouth, he had a very dark jaw blade. The flying mountain lions roared a warning and within seconds the barn was covered in lions of all colors and abilities.

When the fighting had ended, there were many bodies around the barn and no sign of bloodshed. Cautiously Arax crept back into the barn, badly shaken by what he had seen. A strange coldness had crept into his body and clutched his heart. He was sure that Bloodshed had come for the 3 horses.

By sunrise, Arax, Shadow, and Mustang had left the barn far behind and were heading across a great plain across the snowfall mountains. The journey almost took all day and so it was by nightfall, they found themselves in a cave on the hillside close to the largest peak where smoke steamed. Outside the cave, the bitter wind blew in every direction. Inside, Shadow busied herself and made a fire to roast some nuts, mushrooms, and radishes.

Mustang Arax and Shadow began to eat the nuts, mushrooms, and radishes Shadow heated. Arax remembered that their mother had given him something wrapped in leather, he began to open it with curiosity when it was fully opened he was shocked that his mum had packed 3 jaw blades which looked like the one Bloodshed had, but something was different it looked charged and very very powerful. When he put it in his mouth he was loaded with power and abilities and was very colorful it made shadow want to put one in her mouth straight away but she didn’t know how it worked.

When Arax put the blade in his mouth, someone or something was coming to the cave in which the 3 little horses were in. Quickly he put the jaw blades back in the leather than in the bag to hide it from whatever was coming. They were shocked to see a Cougar and a Mountain lion working together. Within seconds, the 3 little horses tied up in the sticky threads of a mountain spider.

When they were tied up, they were knocked out so they wouldn’t see where they were going. When the horses woke up it looked like they were in the cougar and mountain lion base. They saw at least 243 Cougars and 243 mountain lions but one Cougar was on a throne he looked like a Cougar king but there was no queen. They threatened them by telling them where the caves of safety were so they could send all of horse kind and if they didn’t they would die.

chapter 2

The sun hardly began to rise up in the sky when Shadow woke with a start. Something was tapping on the barn door. A beady eye peeked through a gap and Shadow sighed with relief it was Blaze the robin carrier he had a message from their mother to say that the Cougars destroyed the Speed haven. As they set off, the forest was silent. There had been a snowstorm yesterday night and snow-covered the branches overhead making walking harder. Icicles hung from trees like jagged teeth, the wind bit brutally cold. Arax knew that the Cougars could track them easier in the snow and it was impossible not to leave a trail behind. In the distance, Mustang saw another place they could rest when the sun went dark it was an old stable.

Mustang told Arax and Shadow about the old table and how it was perfect when it was dark. They could rest the night and start the journey again tomorrow and then pass the snowfall mountains and end up at their last location in the caves of safety and finally be protected from the Cougars.

Mustang thought that the old barn was a good place to sleep and hide from the cougars because the place had no gaps and it was made out of real hardwood and it was haunted but the 3 little horses had no fears but the thing is cougars are scared of ghosts of people they killed because they can haunt them. 

When Mustang reached the barn door with Shadow and Arax they kicked the door open and found what looked like a horse skull, straight away Mustang was scared. The door shut by the strong wind, locking the 3 horses inside the haunted barn. 

Arax wanted to look around to see if there were more horse bones so he could keep Mustang away from them because he gets scared very easily. The place was like the house that Dr Jeremy the VIII had; he was one of the best horse doctors in horse history.

Arax decides to look for some food because they were all starving and didn’t have food for 5 hours straight. When Arax was going to tell them there was no food, he found some more hay and this time found some water to swallow all the hay down their throats.

After they ate, they heard a lot of footsteps right outside of the barn. Someone or something said, “open this door !”Mustang was about to reply, but quickly Shadow whispered to him not to speak and wait until whoever was at the door was gone for good.

chapter 1

Finally, they were ready to leave their home. That afternoon, a message arrived at the speed haven saying that all the Cougars were a few miles away.No one would be safe from the Cougar’s powerful jaws. They had no choice but to leave their home and flee to the only place that the cougars couldn’t enter.

So the 3 little horses, Arax, Shadow, and Mustang left their home. Their journey to safety would take at least a week but first, they would have to pass the Red Pine forest and past the Snowfall mountains to reach the Caves of safety. Even the Cougars couldn’t enter the mighty caves, carved in the mountainside by horses so long ago that they had passed into stories that the elderly only knew. Once the horses reached their destination they would be safe. Other horses chose to travel elsewhere but Shadow’s mother had given them an ancient map that showed the old paths, mostly hidden from unwanted eyes and glances. Too old to travel, she had stayed behind, hiding in the forest. Trailing behind Arax, Shadow stayed with Mustang. Wearily, they tried to follow in the footsteps of their older brother Arax without falling behind and losing their brother’s guidance to the caves of safety. They soon passed the Red Pine forest and to the Snowfall mountains. After at least 10 minutes they would be out of the forest and the sky would soon be dark and Mustang would look like he was soon going to pass out on the ground because he looked like he was going to faint.

They finally passed through the Red Pine forest and checked mustang to see how he was doing because he needed sleep. After a few minutes, they saw an old abandoned barn near the Snowfall mountains. Arax agreed to stay at the barn because it was near the next location and when the sun rose they could get started and then finally be at the last location the Caves of safety and be safe of the Cougars might jaws that can rip the flesh of a horse.

When they went inside the old barn there was some old hay laying around, Arax Shadow, and Mustang ate the hay. Arax told a story about how the mountains were safe for all of the horses to be safe from the cougars. After the story ended Mustang and Shadow were fast asleep but Arax thought about how they were going to cross the snowfall mountains and into the caves of safety in time before the Cougars track them down and kill them.

How to look after a baby Dragon

Have you ever wanted a unique pet? Purchase a dragon from the local hatchery. You will never be bored again.

 

However-A pet dragon will be hard to look after and you’ll need to follow these instructions to know how to care for your baby dragon. If not, you may notice that your dragon will become a problem for you to look after.

 

What you need:  a dragon-proof collar, dragon bracelet, dragon whistle, dragon den, radio, bedtime stories,  and a lot of food.

 

What you do:  

 

Your pet dragon will like to roam free outside, However, if you’re not with your dragon simply blow the dragon whistle and it’ll use its speed to come back to you in under a minute. If you’re with your dragon outside and it runs away tap the dragon bracelet and the dragon will also come back to you.

 

A recognizable collar made out of dragon-proof metal is useful because if you may want to enter the baby dragon competition and your dragon wins you’ll know the dragon is yours.

 

If you’re going to feed your dragon, read this bit carefully. First, get 2 bowls make some rice and fry the meat then put the meat and rice in one bowl and the other bowl fill it up with water because when dragons eat hot things they overheat and might cause a fire in your garden 

So after it eats the meat, give it some water or splash it with water to keep its body temperature normal.

 

Then after that take your dragon out for some exercise by walking in the city,play fetch or run with your dragon. The result of your pet doing exercise every day is when dragons don’t do exercise they lose their power flight.

 

One more word of caution: dragons have an eye for anything made out of metal, anything shiny or valuable so keep your treasures away from the baby dragon or you’ll realise that something has gone missing.
