On the inside
You are the sweet taste of a blueberry bursting into my mouth.
You are the sky after the rain, shining with bright, white clouds.
You are the pleasant sound of a violin, playing in a choir.
You are as energetic as a child, playing at the park.
You are as soft as the petals of an orchid, swaying in the wind.
You are as smart as a book, waiting to be read.
You are an apple hanging from a tree, waiting to be picked with your dazzling red colour standing out from every apple.
You are the yellow in the two reds, different from them.
You are as magnificent as London at Christmas.
You are the sound of the sea when crashing against rocks.
You are forgotten, yet you still shine like the brightest star.
You are like the plaster to my cut, helping it heal.
You are the icing to the cake, keeping it together.
You may sparkle on the outside, but really your shattered glass.
