Evacuee Letter

Dear Ma

I can’t even begin to tell you the unbelievable journey I’ve had so far  so,I’ll try to write the main bits just for you. After the bizarre push and shone onto the train, I landed myself in a nice comfy seat next to the window.I had just enough space to fit my bag and my feet in front of me nicely. There were many children on the train chatting frantically – I could barely hear the train wheels running along the tracks.Anyway, there was a girl just like me sitting on the seat to my right. Her name was Lea and she was definitely a chatterbox Ma.Well eventually the train stopped and I had the relief to hear my own voice again.I waved goodbye to Lea and eventually found my classmates all waiting for me.We headed out of the station into the lovely fresh air of the countryside. After 10 minutes of a tiring walk we arrived at a village hall and formed a line against a wall.I thought no one was going to pick me – but I was the first to go Ma.I’m now living in a little cottage with a lady called Miss Mel and if you want to know what she’s like you’d definitely approve Ma.Well eventually we had a cup of tea together and then she let allowed me to write this letter to you.Don’t worry I’ll be okay

Imagination’s development

My imagination is made from

The first laugh of a new born baby

The last drop of sunlight to fall from the heavens’

The reflection of an elegant snowflake showing a new Winter

The warm loving embrace of a family hug.

My imagination is found at

The end of the northern lights

Hidden away at the bottom of the ocean

Trapped in the devil’s evil grasp

Sitting at the bottom of my drawing pencil

Waiting on a children’s reading book.

My imagination can

Break through hearts made of steel

Make new friendships blossom

Put galaxy stars in place

Bring all four seasons around

Stop wars from happening.

If I would ever loose my imagination

There would be no explanation

For the world would be in pure destruction.

The ship of death

Lurking on the decking the  silence is kept

The captain clear and see through waiting for his crews arrival.

The whisper nearly forgotten of this ancient ghostly place

The deep ocean’s hands the only thing holding it in place.

The sails anchored down caught by the mast’s hard grip

The anchor with rusty skin hidden away in the sand.

Dark murky mist creeping through the cracked port holes ,

The captains cabin full of worn out written papers in his very own hand.

Happy teacher happy life

The moment the lovely Miss Cherry’s warm-faced smile entered the classroom all the children gazed at her in confidence and excitement. She looked extra happy today. Her rosy cheeks could be seen from miles away. Her kindly gaze comforted their hearts.

“Good morning class. Excited for today?”she asked.
