The Centapillar by Jax

The centapillar is a amazing creature that has only recently been discovered. The insect true abilities are not yet known, as they are not yet to be examined. Would you recognise on if you saw on? Read on to find out about this amazing insect.

The centapillar is like many other insects; it has legs, eyes, thorax, abdomen and antennae. All of the centapillars are dark green in colour and are therefore able to hide from predators larger than themselves.

The centapillar teeth are sharp- sharp enough to bite through a log  of wood. In fact,  bite power is over 100 on the bite scale scientists are still not quite sure what the exact number of centapillars that exist across the world. However, but the know that the numbers are increasing rapidly.

the majority of centapillars have a tail which is covered in acid and it can chop other insects in half with its edge which is like a blade. It can therefore eat anything it kills. It also can whip its tail when threatened by a human scientists are often seen wearing a acid proof suit and so they can get a closer look at the tail, with out being harmed.

most centapillars legs are short and they often have over 100 legs and they could carrier them to the speed over 45 miles per hour. They travel that fast to get away from predators as fast as possible scientists are trying hard to discover how they run that fast considering that they are so small.

Almost all centapillars eyes are green. Often they have a fed tinge when it is night time. Their eyes glow in the dark and often appear a faded yellow. So if you were to see them, you may go over to see wha5 it is-do not! Do not go towards them; or look them in the eyes of become paralysed quickly, then die. But beware, you can also die from its lethal laser beam that comes from its eyes. A small minority do not have this characteristic, but are still deadly.

the centapillars scales are dark green in colour. They are in breakable and impenetrable.they can only be damaged by the mythical golden knife, but that was shattered way back in 1065; so in theory they can never be harmed.

The centapillar’s are one of its most deadly weapons the centapillar has. They can crush bones and pierce skin. Most deaths caused by the centapillar are caused by its horns. The colour of their horns vary, but green is the most common. Several individuals have been seen with red-tipped horns, but this is rare. Centapillar’s horns shine in the night, and resemble torch flames as they flicker. If you see one, do not pick it up.

You have been warned!

Autumn Haiku by Jax

Fog floats down stopping

people from seeing the way.

Soon they will feel trapped.

the leaves lay scattered,

making a carpet of gold.

Rustling feet walk.

All over the wood,

hungry animals search quick’

desperate to eat.

Conkers hang up high.

Prickly shells hang waiting,

for the wind to strike.

Hedgehogs hibernate.

They curl up in leaves to sleep,

while winter comes again.

What are you?

You are…

a petal waiting to fall

a frosty football flying through the air towards the goal

a bird on a wire looking out for cats

You are…

the squeal of three little pigs as the wolf knocked on the door

the cunning of the wolf tiptoeing through the forest to grandma

a poisoned red apple waiting to be eaten

You are…

the aroma of aftershave stolen from the bathroom shelf

the juiciness of an orange waiting to be picked

the cheesy cheesiness of a pizza pulled from the oven

You are…

a lonely moon waiting to be landed upon once again

Mars, red, rocky and raging hot, trapped far out in space

You are done!
