Autumn Haiku by Jax

Fog floats down stopping

people from seeing the way.

Soon they will feel trapped.

the leaves lay scattered,

making a carpet of gold.

Rustling feet walk.

All over the wood,

hungry animals search quick’

desperate to eat.

Conkers hang up high.

Prickly shells hang waiting,

for the wind to strike.

Hedgehogs hibernate.

They curl up in leaves to sleep,

while winter comes again.
