“No! Not the fridge door!”Dad shouted. I peered into the fridge as it creaked open. It looked amazing. There was cakes and tubs of ice cream.

“Don’t tell mum!”Dad whispered.

“You said you were on a diet right?”I asked.

“Yeah,”Dad answered. “How about this? I let you eat the ice cream and cakes and you won’t tell Mum,”Dad mentioned.

“Sure!”I agreed. Since then, I ate abnormal amounts of ice cream without Mum noticing. During midnight I would sneak out of bed and sit next to the fridge and eat ice cream.

One day I was going on a road trip with my family on my way to Phuket during the holidays. Two hours passed by. The air conditioning stopped working. The car began to slow down and I was getting worried. I went to look at the driver seat. I noticed that the gas has completely depleted. I asked my parents what happened. They informed me that we were stuck on the side of the road and the gas station is 500 meters away from the car. It took 25 minutes to push the car. We were finally at the gas station and I let out a sigh of relief. We paid for the gas and we were able to continue our road trip.

“I want a word with you,” Mum said. My heart was pounding. My whole body was shaking with fear. I was wondering what would happen. Did I forget something? Did I forget doing the chores? Or I got bad grades? I had no reason to explain.

“Did you forget something?” she said.

“No?” I replied.

“It’s your birthday!” I let out a sigh of relief. All of my cousins and friends have come to celebrate. There was everything I loved. There was food, candy and games. I went to blow all the candles off the cake and eat. I enjoyed these special moments and went to play.

There was once a sink which was located in a public bathroom. One day, it  wondered why it was there and thought to itself:

“Why am I here? I clean people’s dirty hands and feet but I don’t get anything from it! I wish that I could get paid something or get a reward. Maybe I should get some revenge on those nasty people today! So, instead of cleaning people’s hands with clean water, I will just clean their hands with muddy water!” Eventually, a random person came in to wash his hands, he was shocked to see the muddy water from the sink. He told a cleaner that the water was muddy and the sink was destroyed. The sink was now broken waiting to be repaired but nobody came. It looked around. It realized it was trapped and regretted its existence.

There one was a trash can who lived on the side of the road. One day it thought to itself and said:
“I’m tired of living on the road and eating people’s leftovers and baby ****! I want to eat actual food and live in a nice house like the humans do!” It thought of a plan to achieve its goals and end its suffering. It was hard but possible. It tried over and over again but kept failing. It thought why it couldn’t do it until it realized it could not move. It knew the plan would only work if it could move. It realized it would never accomplish its goals and sit on the side of the road suffering.
