springtime

Dogs dance,

sparrows sing,

chicks cheep.

lambs leap,

blossom blooms,

joeys jump.

poppies pop-up,

snowdrops shimmer,

daffodils dart from the ground.

bluebells burst-up,

trees creak,

buds form.

The bicycle.

The bicycle.

The bike rests forgotten on the ground,

ignored by all,

never being noticed.

Its handles jut out like a car’s mirror,

being used carelessly.

The broken seat rocking side by side,

being strangled by the verdant green vines.

The deflating wheel slouching on the minty grass,

its weight killing what lies hid underneath it.

The Bicycle

The tarnished remains of roads travelled,

laid abandoned and alone.

Kept company by mini beasts

and the glistening magic of cobwebs.

The wheels were dreamcatchers,

stealing bad auras and releasing good.

Rusty chains, the remains

of a soldier’s battle armour.

Stories it could tell

of journeys far and wide,

the only wish that remained

was that someone would return to ride…

…away into the sunset for one last time!

You are poem

You are the sound of footsteps echoing around the dim hallways of the sinister institute,

You are the sound of trees branches rustling against the stained windows,

You are the sound of a bird making ear bleeding scrape on the door trying to get in.

My you are poem by Jessica

You are a frozen lake trapping all sea creatures,

melting from the blazing sun,

solidifying many animal-like plants.

You are the glistening moon in my eyes,

stars instead of the sun,

my fading shadow in the spotlight.

You are the new Shake-spear in my books.

the goods and bads

You are an Autumn leave waiting to fall ,

and be picked up and taken home ,

for a child’s picture .

You are Christmas

with presents spreading

joy and cheer .

You are a deflated balloon,

Sadly waiting for someone to fill me up again.

 .

You are a baby robin that fell out of its nest

into a cloud of snow waiting to be rescued .

You are  are a lonely boy

waiting for a new friend.
